Shield was perfect 30 attack, St and carabella were perfectly scrolled. So I guess..... ST>Carabella!!!!!
That question is literally the point of this thread.... From my calculations: A ST responds better to higher atk. A ST is worth perfecting if you can use it with under 30 base dex, are over level 150, get 35 or more attack from your cape/glove/shoe, and spend the majority of your training time on stoppers or better. The reason st is "always" worth doing is that you can expect you'll eventually get to these points, so its basically like lighting money on fire to perf a 1h weapon and then switch. I didn't calculate anything using red katana, because imo its not worth sacrificing the possible dpm boost of si, especially if our next major challenge content is possibly cwkpq that will require pirates to be in the party. Edit: I can simplify my above statement to say "you'll need about 110 atk between your cape, glove, shoe, and atk pot at level 150, and about 90 atk between them at level 185 for st to win out" which is why it tested better on apple regardless of bad cape/shoe. If you had tested on stoppers it pro ably would havebeen equal or slightly 1h favored, and on red ciders or lower would have been clearly 1h favored. That possibly also explains Mike's issue. It's been a while, but I wanted to post this in case anyone might find it useful. It's the spreadsheet that I've used (cleaned up a bit) to compare warrior weapons in the past. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/8135545/Maple_Warrior-Weapon-Comparison.xlsx It seems that Speed Infusion is -4 as opposed to -3. I'm not sure how that difference has slipped past all of us until recently (thanks @Narutard), but that makes a pretty big difference for weapons with speed 6 or worse. SI makes Dragon Claymores (and Crushed Skulls for Paladins) the best DPS on Energizers or better by a slight margin...but these weapons are completely reliant on it, and are dead last for DPS without SI. Anyway, take a look. Maybe being able to plug in your own gear or gear you're hoping for will help you sword warriors choose a weapon!
I said in the same thread that @Narutard had tested it to actually be +4. Video evidence of those tests was later posted in the same thread. http://royals.ms/forum/threads/dk-vs-hero.22612/page-4#post-134937
@Plenty @jmmainvi The Speed Infusion skill in MapleRoyals (now) does give a reduction of 4 as can be seen on this code snip from our files: Code: statups.add(new Pair<MapleBuffStat, Integer>(MapleBuffStat.SPEED_INFUSION, Integer.valueOf(-4))); I believe it was set to -3 at first but it has been edited to -4 somewhere along the line to be more in sync with GMS v62.
Just clarifying that Speed Infusion was always -4 and never -3 since it's 'fix' was introduced about a year ago.
the dmg formula has some flaw, for example, 15447 * 5.2 (Brandish) * 1.9 (Advanced Combo Attack) * 0.8 (Mastery) = 122 093 the factor of aca should be 2.5 (2.2+0.3), and that of mastery should be 0.6 despite that the result is very close, cuz 1.9*0.8=1.52, and 2.5*0.6=1.5
Was a while since I wrote this down but the reasoning mastery is a 0.8x multiplier is because it's the average hit you do. 60% is the minimum damage and the maximum damage is 100%. So logically the average hit should be 80%. As far as ACA goes the description of the skill is off. It doesn't boost damage by 2.5x.
Curious about the fact that I see some of the final results are pretty close to each other. Now that the max base str for warriors is 19 lower than it used to be, would this affect anything enough to change the standings?
