IGN: ChugEli Problem: Could not add any third job skills. Details: A level 78 Ranger at the moment. I not entirely sure what level did I job advanced (it is my bloodwashed character, so I did not bother doing job advancement immediately after lvl 70). So this is what happened: I tried using some skill points on my 1st and 2nd job skills in case it works (probably from over-leveling?). However, the problem persists.
Yes, I only job advanced at lvl30 (after orbis exchange) . For the 1st and 2nd job skills: Kinda messed it up after the "You're lacking Level 1 or 2 Skills." prompt.

Ah I see.. I didn't expect this would happen as my other characters (warrior, thief & mage classes) that leveled via orbis exchange never had such issue before. Thank you Dave for the clarification. Noted on the possible time period. I don't mind waiting. Can I continue to level him up while waiting?
You may continue to level the character up However, please note that I am unable to guarantee the Admin will be able to fix/refund this issue for sure, but will forward your request for their confirmation In the meantime, you may wish to math out exactly how many SP you are missing
Noted on that, so I just have to pray they'll be fixing it in the future . Regarding the SP, nothing was missing. I only started using the 3rd job's SP on 1st & 2nd jobs' skills after the error pops out. I don't mind if my 3rd job's SP allocated on 1st & 2nd jobs' skills are not refunded. In fact, no refunds have to be made. Just hope I can add my 3rd job skills (& 4th job) next time. FYI: I did 3rd job advancement at lvl 70.

I apologise, 20 SP is wrong. Just managed to work out in details... For 1st job: We should have 1 + 20*3 = 61 SP. According to the Screenshots, I had a total of 77 SP added. 77 SP - 61 SP = extra of 16 SP. For 2nd job: We should have 1 + 40*3 = 121 SP. According to the Screenshots, I had a total of 66 SP added. 66 SP - 121 SP = lacking 55 SP. For 3rd job (at Level 78): We should have 1 + 8*3 = 25 SP. According to the Screenshots, I had a total of 19 SP. 19 SP - 25 SP = lacking 6SP. In summary: + 16 - 55 - 6 = 45 SP missing . Someone correct me if I am wrong again... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- On a side note: Does adding all my current skill points to max out every 1st and 2nd job skills rectify the problem and allows me to continue adding 3rd job skills?
Thank you for confirming the missing SP amount, added it to the memo for Admin's reference As per the guide of how SP should be added above, it's not recommended to max out every 1st and 2nd job SP, you will be eating into your 3rd job SP Also, you are unlikely to do so due to missing 45 SP Would strongly recommend following the guide's SP build to avoid any confusion when leveling skills *the extra 16 SP in 1st job are from 2nd job SP
Hello hello, Just a little update on my progression and check up on this post's status: Made it to level 120 and did the job advancement. Was low-key hoping miracle happens and allows me to add 4th job's skills. However, this happens . Thanks..
Hello, we regret to inform you that we are unable to provide a refund for the missing SP. As per the FAQ of (Missing SP after job advancing late?) "Beginners who level past 30 will lose SP for each successive level. This is not subject to refunds as it is not a bug. Other priorities combined with its level of difficulty have resulted in no current plans to change this mechanic." We apologize for the disappointment caused.
Hi Dave, Thank you for the reply. I hope this thread can be re-opened and I would like to reiterate the aim of this post. Losing SPs due to a late job change, and that can't be refunded- I will take it. It's just that I am unable to add third job skills and job advance to 4th job. This is a bug.
Hi Dave, Yes, I am now aware that some missing SP may have caused the error. Missing SP will not be refunded, because it is not a bug. I understand it. Doing job advancement late causes a lack of some SP allocated is a consequence that players have to face. And that is missing some skill points! So.. what I am understanding is that, I should still be able to make progression moving forward to 3rd and 4th job, with some SP lost, A.K.A. I am on a more disadvantaged side compared to others because I can't max some skills, which I totally do not mind at all. I just want to progress to 4th job + able to add remaining skills. Players not able to progress to job advancement, is a bug. Yes?
