    Hello community and GMs/Admins!

I'm finally making a thread regarding my bossing disconnects, since I think I have a more details on when I disconnect now.

    Details:
    • I always boss using VMware following Tim's Bossing without Graphical Glitches guide (even upped the memory/cores).
    • I DO GFX.
    • I've gone on 4 HT runs and I've disconnected from all 4. (One from server check, other 3 were random times around 30-40% HP left on Horntail, around wings/heads)
    • In the past 3-4 Zak runs, I've had a weird GFX problem where as soon as the 3rd Zakum body spawns, the boss HP bar as well as Zakum itself would begin to flash.

Any help or possible solutions would be really helpful! Thanks!

Windows 7 Professional. I believe what Tim recommended in his guide.

I had win 7 in Vmware workstation I crashed at zak every time body spawned, then I switched OS to win 8 which I use normally and that worked.

Really? That's so weird. I thought MapleRoyals runs the best in XP and Win7. My normal OS is also Win8 but I used Win7 to follow the guide. Maybe I'll make a VM with Win8 OS and see if it gets any better. (I need to make a new one right? I can't just switch OS of an already existing VM?)

    I don't think so.

I use windows 8 normally and I never use Vmware for any bossing and I have 0 dc problems.

Oh that's what you meant. I definitely DC while bossing on my regular client. My laptop that I play on uses NVidia 750M SLI graphic cards.

In Tim's guide he uses XP you could try that.
Those Nvidia cards don't work so I see why you need VMware.

Hmmm....my VMware settings show up as Windows 7 Professional, but the VM desktop shows the XP background and Start button and stuff...

Wait, I'll update on this. I'll check my settings again after class.

UPDATE: Yes, I have checked my VMware and the OS is actually Windows XP Professional.

Are there any other possible fixes that I can try to get things working? I can provide VMware settings screenshots if needed. I hope to be able to boss soon! :(

If you are using wireless try switching to a cable.
Do you gfx at HT body? after body parts die.

I'm not sure how VMware works but isn't it using your graphic cards?
If yes then I guess you would need to turn it off (in Vmware) and run onboard graphic card.

Yes, I do GFX. I thought VMware turns off my graphics cards automatically?

If not, is there a guide explaining how to do that?

I think you need intel cpu for it to work, I don't think amd has onboard graphic card.
