Suggestion: Make Dark Tokens and Halloween Candies stack up to 1000 (up from 100 or 500)

Why: To reduce the amount of inventory space that the event ETC is taking up. This would follow the more modern direction of Royals of raising event ETC to 1000.

Very disappointing that there's no new grindable NX or chair rewards, it's all the same as last year. It's a little late but I'm still hoping there's additions to the pool for candies/tokens (and let's be frank, Monster Altar Chair is hideous and hard to match with outfits and therefore unpopular :X,).

Pierre avoidability can be reduced (I am not fond of the damage either but at least you let magicians use Magic Guard in there).

Please remove the cooldown for Pierre after exchanging a gift. Players often log out to quickly leave Pierre if we get stuck on the other side, and sometimes we will forget to exchange the etc and therefore get locked out from the next Pierre.

I only did the Halloween Challenge once but is it really awarding only 10 tokens? That's quite low.

Not much else to write as it's mostly a copy of last year's event as mentioned above.

I am enjoying the Halloween event overall. No major complaints.

However, I noticed players keep running out of ammo in the Pierre map. (or forgetting that soul arrow doesn't work) I think they should add an NPC that sells arrows for archers. Sairs and NLs can use it to refill stars/bullets as well.

idk, I play this server since 2016, I believe 2021 was my last happy halloween, 2022 and now in 2023 the halloween event look really boring for me, same JQ, clothes, 1 or 2 new chairs, kill boss and get a prize, kill the special monster that hold expensive items that only @lee1 and @ImVeryJelly can find (if u make a ranking, I'm 100% sure we gonna see these guys on top 5, lol it's not a problem, just a fun fact), anyway the only thing that I really enjoy is the Halloween Gauntlet 1v1, tbh I wish be smart enough and know how to code to elaborate a new things for halloween and help.

I know all developers have a life and can't dedicate 100% of their time for a seasonal event and need use elements from previous years, but this is my point of view every years \/

I guess the server isn’t struggling for funds at all, as they included 0 new RP items within the cash shop. Genuinely curious why releasing this event took so long, as there isn’t a single piece of new content anywhere. You’d think copy and pasting wouldn’t be so hard.

Released the same day as last year, but last year Von Leon was implemented giving a reasonable explanation. What happened this year? Or was the owner just lazy. Wouldn’t blame him since this server is comparable to a 9-5 job that is hated for them, while the rest of us can’t comprehend making a living off of the game we love.

We appreciate the helpful feedback so far, however posting feedback that is obviously not true (about the owner potentially being lazy, etc.) is not helpful especially in an attempt to stir up drama. We have been dealing with a space issue for quite a while now which limits what we can include and not include. Unfortunately, we have reached a point where we can not make any new major changes without first addressing the space issue. We are close to a few solutions, but still wanted to release a Halloween event for the server even if it was the same as last year. Additionally, the event was delayed due to the issues that our team was working to resolve from the previous patch.

Thank you for the swift response. You have answered my genuine question. I don't know why it took me to pose the question for it to be answered, while making me out to be the bad guy for wondering like a lot of other people. Accusing me of attempting to start drama is false. Asking for the truth? Yeah, I am. I just happened to be the one to illicit an answer. Wonder why?

Anyone may ask the question if in doubt, however, we would appreciate it if you could refrain from attacking the Staff such as accusing the owner of being lazy

As this thread is meant for Halloween event Feedback, please note that I would have to take necessary actions if there are any attempts to flame the Staff while posing the questions

Have Malady tell you how many times you've turned in Pierres box so you know how close you are to getting the Zombie Ring. Make it a 3rd talking option where its like "How many Pierre boxes have i turned in?" and She just tells you how many.

If staff were to have found a solution to the space issue prior to the release of the Halloween event, were there any plans to add new content to this event? I'm not asking for specifics, but curious why the event was released so late this year. I'm doubling down on questioning why the event was released so late this year, because it causes all of the events following to be smashed together. Thanksgiving > Christmas > Lunar New Year > Valentines.

Ultimately my feedback is: Release the event sooner. It's very possible I share my opinion alone, but I'd prefer to celebrate an event mainly prior to the Holiday, rather than the majority of it be celebrated after the holiday has occurred.

    Halloween Gauntlet:
    - Every 2 hours would be nice, make it a bit easier for people to make it.
    - It could probably use a token buff, the tokens are less than Witch Tower (which also gives some high value candies), while taking about the same time, maybe longer, forcing players to a strict schedule, and being far harder if you want the good token amounts. At lower levels it's just pointless.
    - When 2 people in Master+ fight, give them Crazy Skull for the duration of it!

    Witch Tower:
    - This is pretty much the only farmable JQ in the game. Please don't nerf it - it gives people who like JQs and are good at them an alternate way to make meso. Don't buff the rewards either, they're at a very solid/balanced amount.
    - Easy/Medium are kind of pointless though. They're not noticeably easier than hard, and the rewards are greatly reduced. I'd recommend either making them actually easier, or removing them as to not mislead noobs.

    Halloween Challenge:
    - Seems fine. It's not the best to farm but it can be fun and give a couple extra tokens if needed. Also, good for islanders!

    Rewards:
    - With the release of VL, the belt seems pretty mediocre now. Maybe an increased duration or slightly lower cost would make people more interested in going for it? And yeah it's available to people who can't run VL, but honestly the only people who'd bother getting it are hardcore minmaxers, and most of them run VL
    - Normal Witch Scroll and Witch Belt Scroll are identical. Would be nice to have one get an alternate sprite
    - Stackable scrolls and buying multiple of an item at once would be nice QoL
    - Ssiws cheese is massively overpriced, to the point of being useless for anyone except ironman mages. Similar to gapple it shouldn't be too cheap to interfere with the market, but this still is a limited time event, so I'd say 6-8 tokens might be fair?
    - Other items seem pretty reasonable. I'd say gelt price is almost exactly what I personally value gelts at.

    Pierre:
    - IDK I don't do Pierre, idc about the hats and other rewards aren't that great

    Ghost:
    - With the crash of the ring 30% market, maybe the rewards of it should be looked at again? Not sure how the cs/ws rates compare to Anniversary

    Memes:
    - Make candy into a use item, granting a 1 second +40 speed buff. Consuming multiple candy extends the duration of the buff by 1 second each.
    - Do NOT consume the dark tokens. Trust me, they're NOT chocolate coins.
    - Only allow people who are wearing a Halloween costume to trade Malady for items. No costume = no loot!

If the event organizer tells us only what skills we can use in attacking Pierre, we will be prepared. In the beginning, many didn't know that mages could use energy bolt and holy/fire arrows.

A few of my characters did more than 100 runs and, sadly never got a Pierre hat. Like Zombie Ring, you can give us the option to choose a Piere hat (with godly effect), blue or red after (say) 30 runs, and still can get the Hat as part of a random reward.

    Pierre Boss Fight
    My observation and experience
    1. I noticed many AFK after achieving minimum hits (probably between 150 and 200 hits). Since your server allowed multi-clients, those AFKs are actively attacking Pierre on another channel.
    2. Those who attack more than 1,000 hits wouldn't get a better reward than those who achieved minimum hits because the reward is random.
    3. The melee attackers had a hard time attacking Pierre. They were knock-backed often when going near Pierre and may miss hitting it unknowingly. It is hard for them to know how many hits they had achieved while ranged attackers especially assassins and archers had an easy time knowing the number of hits by observing the used stars and arrows.

    Proposed solution:
    1. Create a counter for the total number of hits to appear on the right-hand screen.

    2. Give 3 types of rewards depending on their participation.
    150-249 hits/damage, get a Regular Surprise Box
250-499 hits, get a Quality Surprise Box
500 and above hits, get a Premium Surprise Box
The better the Surprise Box, the higher the chance to get a better reward. Implement this new reward system to any Event Boss fight.
