This guide isn't going to go too in depth, but will cover my skill build suggestions and training areas. It will will assume you know how to get each of your job advancements.
I recommend being completely lukless as the damage difference pretty significant and maple items are very cheap (If you don't find them while training anyway, which you probably will).

If anyone has any suggestions to alternative training areas please let me know and I'll add them in. I prefer to solo so I am probably missing pretty much all of the great party areas.

Please let me know if you spot any mistakes - I'm not a bishop in Royals, so some of this is going off memory. I can't check on my GMS bishop since all the skills / maps have changed!

    Levels 8-15

    Dungeon, Southern Forest I
    Slime

    Exchange Quest (Orbis)
Speak to Staff Sergeant Charlie (This is good for levels 10-30, click here)

    Levels 15-20

    Hidden Street: The Pig Beach
    Pig, Ribbon Pig, Iron Hog

    Dungeon, Southern Forest III
    Slime, Green Mushroom

    Levels 20-25

    Dungeon, Southern Forest IV
    Green Mushroom, Horny Mushroom

    Kerning City Subway: Line 1 <Area 1>
    Bubbling

    Kerning City Subway: Transfer Area
    Stirge

    Kerning Party Quest
    For levels 21-30

    Levels 25-30

Hidden Street: The Land of Wild Boar I
    Wild Boar, Dark Axe Stump

    Kerning Party Quest
    For levels 21-30

    Regular Magician

    1 Energy Bolt
    5 Improved MP Recovery
    Max Improved MaxMP Increase
    Max Improved MP Recovery
    Max Magic Claw
    Max Magic Guard

The maxing of Improved MP Recovery and Magic Claw can be switched for faster training if you're not poor as crap like me.

    Levels 30-35

    Ludibrium: Terrace Hall
    Brown Teddy

Orbis: Garden of Red / Green / Yellow I
Jr. Cellion / Grupin / Lioner

    Levels 35-40

Ludibrium: The Path of Time <2> / <3>
    Chronos

    Phantom Forest: Hollowed Ground
Jr. Wraith (I prefer this spot because the stirge in the subway are annoying, however Headless Horseman does spawn here. If you're not interested in running away and changing channels when he does, you can go to Kerning City Subway: Line 1 <Area 2> or B2 Bonus Stage)

    Levels 40-50

Ludibrium: The Path of Time <1>
    Platoon Chronos

El Nath: Forest of Dead Trees I-IV
    Coolie Zombie

    Kerning City Subway: Line 1 <Area 4>
    Wraith (Alternative: B3 Bonus Stage)

    Levels 50-70

    Singapore: Ghost Ship 1 / 2 / 5 / 6
Pac Pinky / Slimy / Selkie Jr. / Mr. Anchor

    Haunted House: Sophilia's Bedroom [3]
    Voodoo

    Haunted House: Vanity Room [3]
    Hoodoo

El Nath: Forest of Dead Trees III
    Coolie Zombie

    Victoria Road : Camp 1
Skeleton Solider, Officer Skeleton (Drops GFA & Claw ATT 60%'s)

Ludibrium: Forgotten Path of Time <1>
    Soul Teddy (Drops GFA 60%)

    Money Saver

    1 Teleport
    Max Heal
    Max MP Eater
    Max Teleport
    5 Invincible
    Max Bless
    Max Invincible
    11 Holy Arrow

This build will end up saving you on pots earlier on since you max out heal, teleport (cutting the usage cost) and MP eater.

    Regular Cleric

    1 Teleport
    Max Heal
    Max MP Eater
    5 Invincible
    Max Bless
    Teleport
    Max Invincible
    11 Holy Arrow

Bless is maxed early to make you desirable for parties. MP Eater and Teleport can be switched if you spam teleport a lot. I used this build even though I chose to solo. You can max Invincible before Bless if you're a solo cleric and want some more survivability.

    Levels 70-90

    Singapore: Mysterious Path 3
    Slimy / Selkie Jr.

    Singapore: Ghost Ship 1 / 2 / 5 / 6

Pac Pinky / Slimy / Selkie Jr. / Mr. Anchor

Ludibrium: Forgotten Path of Time <3>
    Death Teddy

Leafre: The Area of Black Kentaurus
    Black Kentaurus

    Hidden Street: Lost Time
    Master Death Teddy

    MesoGears: Wolf Spider Cavern
Wolf Spider (75+ to leech here, make sure you have HS maxed)

    Singapore: Ulu City Entrance
Berserkie (80+ to leech, however due to map layout I recommend staying at WS! It's definitely faster leech)

    Singapore: Ulu Estate I
Berserkie / Veetron (85+ to leech)

    Levels 90-120

    Zipangu: Encounter with the Buddha
Himes (95+ if you're going to HS & leech from someone)

    Singapore: Ulu Estate II
Veetron / Slygie (90+ to leech)

    Singapore: Ulu Estate III
    Montrecer (100+ to leech)

    Singapore: Ulu City Center
    Petrifigter (105+ to leech)

    Pahntom Forest: Multiple Locations
Bigfoot - providing HS to attackers (105 to leech)

    Phantom Forest: The Evil Dead
    Elderwraith

    Hidden Street: Forbidden Time
    Grim Phantom Watch

Aqua Road: Deep Sea Gorge II
Goby (80+ to leech) - nerfed & not recommended

Aqua Road: Dangerous Sea Gorge II
Squid, Risell Squid (92+ to leech)

    Leafre: Destroyed Dragon Nest
Jr. Newtie, Nest Golem (100+ to leech only from Jr.Newtie, 105+ for Nest Golem)

Leafre: The Dragon Nest Left Behind / Nest of a Dead Dragon
Skelegon, Skelosaurus (Recommended solo area for funded players, approx 100+ INT from equips & a z-helm - 108+ if you're going to HS and leech)

    Regular Priest

    1 Shining Ray
    3 Dispel
    1 Elemental Resistance
    1 Mystic Door
    Max Holy Symbol
    Max Shining Ray
    Max Elemental Resistance
    Max Summon Dragon
    Max Dispel
    Max Mystic Door
    1 Doom

Shining Ray can be maxed before HS for better damage as a solo priest if desired, however it's not really recommended since you will probably be training at slimy through those levels anyway which can be healed. Elemental Resistance, Dragon and Dispel can be switched around depending on whether you will be bossing or not, max dispel earlier if you plan to boss. Doom is useless, don't put points in doom. ~f3

    Levels 120+

Leafre: The Dragon Nest Left Behind / Nest of a Dead Dragon
Skelegon, Skelosaurus (Once you have genesis to smoosh these guys!)

    Leafre: Destroyed Dragon Nest
    Jr. Newtie, Nest Golem

    Zipangu: Encounter with the Buddha
    Himes

    Hidden Street: Forbidden Time
    Grim Phantom Watch

Aqua Road: Deep Sea Gorge II
Goby - nerfed & not recommended

Aqua Road: Dangerous Sea Gorge II
    Squid, Risell Squid

    Singapore: Ulu City Center
    Petrifigter

The order you max things in will really depend on the availability of skill books and how quickly you can get them.
Put your first three points into Genesis, Bahamut and Resurrection. After that I would prioritize them in the following order, but it doesn't matter too much since everything will get maxed eventually.

    Genesis
    Maple Warrior
    Resurrection
    Holy Shield
    Bahamut
    Infinity
    Angel's Ray
    Big Bang

Keep Maple Warrior at 9 / 19 since it gives the same stat bonus as 10 / 20. If you're planning to train with someone who already has Maple Warrior push that back and max the other skills first. If you're not planning on bossing you can push Holy Shield further back too.

Here is a chart which advises how much magic is required to 1 & 2 HKO certain mobs with certain levels of Genesis. (Ps: Table was not written by me - really old table I had saved on my PC from like 2009. Don't raise inaccuracies, unless marked with an asterisk these were calculations untested in game at the time. This is a rough guide only.

I didn't read the actual guide because I do not Bishop, but damn it looks really clean and the headings are done quite nicely! Very good job with the aesthetics (and probably the content)!

    Thanks guys!
I wanted to make sure it didn't look like a giant wall of text, so hopefully the headers broke it up nicely and will make it easy for people to reference at a glance without having to read through parts that are irrelevant to them.

Very well done, and very clean. I agree with everything down to the little comments on them except for one part, that may or may not be specific to this server or priests in general.

Max Holy Symbol first. Party or not. Slimys are the most convenient place to train from levels 50-90ish, and holy symbol plays a huge part. I find shining ray almost useless considering you will 99% of the time be training on things that are undead which heal can hit. MP Eater + Heal = minimal pot usage. Holy symbol just speeds things along.

Other than that, this is definitely a setup to follow! =)

Amazing guide, I would just let to add some stuff if you don't mind!

Maybe also adding the level of each mob would be nice, so people know what is the leech level if they are going in parties!

Excellent 10-20 quests: (credits of Tom)
    Lvl 10) Reason Behind Mushroom Studies - Bruce/Henesys (300)
    -40 Orange Mushroom Cap
    -10 Mushroom Spore

    Lvl 10) I'm Bored 1/2 - Alex/Kerning - (250)
    -40 Tree Branch
    -40 Squishy Liquid

Lvl 13) Amoria: Beauty or Beast! - (500)
    -25 Squishy Liquid

Lvl 15) Luke the Security Guy - (1500)
    -1 Salad
    -100 Jr. Necki Skin
    -10 Stirge Wing

    Lvl 15) Don Hwang's Request - (800)
    -50 Green Mushroom Cap
    -50 Bubbling's Huge Bubble

    Lvl 15) Shumi's Request - Nella/Kerning - (900)
    -5 Screw
    -5 Processed Wood

    Lvl 15) Andre's Request - Nella - (1000)
    -100 Octopus Leg
    -1 Pure Water

    Lvl 15) John's Pink Flower Basket - (1500)

Lvl 20) Pia and the Blue Mushroom - (3000)
    -40 Blue Mushroom Cap
    -40 Green Mushroom Cap

    Lvl 20) Shumi's Lost Coin - (6000)

Lvl 20) Mrs. Ming Ming's First Worry (3000)
    -100 Pig's Ribbon
    -20 Slime Bubble
    -50 Bubbling's Huge Bubble

    Lvl 20) Planting Trees - Winston (5000)
    -54 Seedling

    Lvl 20) Kino Konoko's Concern - Mushroom Shrine - (3000)
    -100 Crow Feather
(I don't know if you want to add quests, but 10-30 Orbis exchange quest is always excellent)

Also 20-30 Ant tunnel I + The Horny Mushroom/Zombie Mushroom population quests.

35-40, an alternate Jr Wraith map besides (Phantom Forest: Hollowed Ground) would be B2 bonus stage!

Same with an alternate Wraith map, I would recommend B3 bonus stage.

Also the rest of ghost ship is pretty good exp!
    Like GS1/GS5/GS6.

Also you might want to add away MAX HS build for priests that are fond of partying instead of solo'ing and maybe some party maps such as HS'ing people at Wolf spiders, Squids, Gobies.

And Grims is a great priest solo map if you are scared of crow around 90+! You can duo with a DK or an attacking class, and it is great exp.

Here are some essential leech levels:
    Wolf spiders - 75
    Gobies - 80
    Squids - 92
    Himes - 95
    Headless Horseman - 96
    Bigfoot - 105
    Skeles - 105/108
    Anego - 125

Also I would recommend putting holy shield higher on the list bishop skill list since it is an essential skill for Zakum and Bodyguard.

For a Party Bishop, maybe the order should be:
    Genesis
    Maple Warrior
    Res
    Holy shield

    Hope this helps! :)

One more option for training spots from about lvl 85-120 is Skeles. I wouldn't recommend this in the early stages of the server, but once you've got a z-helm and decent equips, you can solo Skeles as a Priest and get pretty decent experience. For solo-ing Skeles at lvl 8x-early lvl 9x, I'd recommend at least +100 int from equips so that you've got a workable hit-rate. If you're tired of dealing with a Crow on every channel at Hime and you'd prefer a map where you can safely afk for meal/bathroom breaks, then give Skeles a try! =)

This is one map where maxed Shining Ray is really useful, as it does better damage than Heal.

For what it's worth, I discovered this method of training while playing pre-Big Bang EMS because we didn't have the Hime map. The alternative high-level solo Priest grinding was Grims, and quite frankly, I hate the layout of that map - far too many annoyingly small platforms! >_<

Added in a note regarding this!

I added in most of your suggestions, as well as the leech level for major leech mobs. I didn't add Gobies or Squids because they're on multiple maps and I don't know which one to add, so if you / anyone could let me know which map people use to train on them I'll add them in too! Thanks for all the party areas, I'm hopeless with them! I think I solo grinded my bishop all the way to 170, hahaha.

Thanks! I added this in. I actually had it originally and I removed it, but it's definitely a good idea so I'll put it back in :) Thanks for the tip!

    Nice thread.

I didn't read it yet. Liked the post because of clean look with fab font and colors ;)

Will read when I have time and come with suggestions IF needed. I Made a Bishop in basically every World I played. (PreBB) 19x GMS, 19x EMS, 18x MR :) (I don't count my PastBB ~f8)

Awesome :) Well let me know if you see anything missing / incorrect. I only made one bishop pre-BB and it was so long ago that most of this is going off memory so I'm probably missing a bunch of stuff haha.

How is bless good in anyway o.o? Bless is pretty much useless unless you have a warrior that really need that acc other wise all the bonus it give is useless. Wasn't till post BB that they give WATT or MATT unless its changed here as custom content? And won't max out mp eater save you more pots since you pretty much healing to lvl at that point and any mana spend in teleport would just be brought back by mp eater. And for 3rd job I understand the 1 point in elemental resistance but why door? just seem really weird to me XD

    Other wise great guide.

Totally forgot about CPQ. Thanks :) I'll add it in!

Bless is useful when you're training on mobs which are higher than you and result in you missing a whole lot- I found it very useful for myself when training at GS2 in the early levels.

1 point in door because no one in your party enjoys walking.

As for Maxing MP Eater before teleport - that is the case in both of my builds. The note is just an alternative suggestion for people who run around a lot - more in relation to moving between maps where they won't be attacking anything to regain any MP anyway.

As the title suggests, this is a guide. It's nothing set in stone, that's why I have little notes here and there for different options people can try out. It's up to them after all. No one is making anyone follow this down to a tee.

Level 1 door is 30 seconds, which is more than enough time for your party to move through it. Personally I think it's handy - but it's really up to you.

Not a bad guide but I would like to add Gobies is 80 to leech, as the mob is level 85.
