This is a small idea that could get more people involved with the events that happen over the course of the day. If there were to be some sort of notification on the website/forums (for example, a line above the shout box), as well as in the in-game messenger, then any players who were browsing the forum could log in to participate, as well. This would only be a good idea if we want as many players as possible in events. If events are meant only to reward players who are currently playing, then never mind.

    Just a thought.

As a person, who LOVES to go to events, I think that this implentation would be quite usefull. It often happens to me to miss an event by 15-20 minutes and that makes me really sad :D.

I remember a similar system in a server I used to play in (though that was for scheduled events which is even worse) and the problem with that is that people end up logging in just for events. I am pretty sure the reason the Royal staff only announce in-game is to reward the people currently playing in their server.

That's what it was like on pso2 for awhile. Instead of sitting in game waiting for dark falz (event) to start people made a plugin for chrome so when the event started a broadcast was put through the plugin so everyone logged in for the event then logged off after. I'd prefer it stay the way it is.

    BUMP!

I haven't been to an event in a week, not even sure if there were any events during that time since (i suppose) they are more like a spontanious thing?... Also, why there was no easter event? :(

There was no Easter event as we thought it would be more productive to be working on the new source instead of taking time away to plan for an event that would not be going on for a long time. Unlike Halloween and Christmas where the events are a season long, Easter is really a one day/week type thing.
