Update check failed: WinHttpSendRequest failed

Ye was a little rough my Bad.
I tried reinstall with img again and now im getting this error saying "Mapleroyals doesnt work anymore"

 

I updated the main post on a resolution I found.

Please be patient with the dev team, Im sure testing all of these changes on so many different setups, operating systems, networks etc isnt something that have easy access to.

 

Still nothing on this? I am getting the same error

 

after dev team put a new download on the wz and img earlier this day the error changed for me from htttp send request error to this.

 

Well after getting the WinHTTP error resolved I received a internal exception occured error.

 

what did u do to fix the http send request error?

at me its like this after the http error :s

 

Why do I get that it has a Trojan when trying to install?

updated from windows 7 to windows 10.

so far so good. no dc no crash.

I tried it, still not working for me :/ no http error sendrequest anymore. i just get this and i tried everything multiple times..
and im so doomed i cant upgrade the windows cuz my system is too old

 

I did what the original post says, went into my router settings and made an exception within the router.

 

this is sad i've try all the changes above and some extra (other then going thro router thing because it dosn't have such setup/ui)
i've disabled the firewall and uninstall all the anti virus long ago and with the last setup that i did 1h ago fresh download and install i get mapleroyals to stop working error and close program...

can we please get old client allready? there is 5 updates per year (even if 10) we can do manual download there is no need of this,we could move the client before aswell why complicate so much =( waste time and resources instead of working on events and content and on top of that a bunch of new bugs around to be fixed that was not the case before....

hope this gets fixed very soon as this is very frustrating to deal with (especially the last 2-3 updates in the span of year or half year with the absence of karven) and hope there won't be need for a farewell

I'm getting the same "MapleRoyals has stopped working" error after trying the latest IMG client on Windows 7. I'm running the exe as administrator and I can ping mw.birb.gg and cdn.royals.ms just fine. Trying to visit the birb site does not give me the "Hi Matt" message. I can log into the game on a Windows 10 PC on the same network, so I'm not blocked at the router level (but that Win10 PC does not see the "Hi Matt" message either). I made local firewall exceptions for the IP addresses to these sites but I keep getting the same error.

It seems to me that Windows 7 is tending to have this error more. Do we have any examples of someone getting this new client to run on Win7? If not, I'm wondering if there's some newer network calls that are used by Win10 but Win7 can't recognize them.

 

I'm getting an error saying it can't fetch update info, I've been trying stuff I've been reading in this thread but it either hasn't been working or I can't figure out how to do it with what I have, the spectrum app doesn't have a thing that I can find to unblock/block/make an exception for a site and I've already scanned the maple royals folder and made exceptions for every file my anti-virus had an issue with. Anyone else have that bit and how did you fix it?

 

im having the same problem X_X and as they said above i have windows 7 ultimate F i tested the fixes above and nothing i dont know what else to do ;( i know im not the only one frustrated but from a working client to this makes me feel real impotent F4
