Closed Sold an (for me) very expensive item at a merchant by accident

Problem: (Sold my 32 luk bathrobe for men by accident at merchant Albert)

Details:
On friday the 15th of december between 19:00 / 21:00 server time. I wanted to drop some items in my bank at free market. By accident sold my 32 luk bathrobe for men at the merchant Albert. I was not paying enough attention and he is also on the ground floor like the bank at the moment. I thought i lost the item forever since there is no buy back. I heard through some friends that it is possible to retrieve the item by putting in an appeal. So i hope my bathrobe can be returned to my character.

I would have put in an appeal earlier if i had known it was possible to retrieve an item and would have wrote down the exact time it happend. I was kind of in shock after i noticed what had happend.

I just learned about ~buyback which triggers Barry. But that doesn't help now since i logged out in the meantime. Hope I can get it back this 1 time. Next time i know about Barry.

 

From what I know, there is no way to get the item back unfortunately. Happened to the best of us.
"I was not paying enough attention" -> explicit reason for the lost item. (If it was a server side issue, only and only then would it be possible to ask for the item back).
"I lost the item forever since there is no buy back" -> wrong assumption made, contributing factor of losing the item is not being familiar with server user commands.
From what I believe there would be no replacement for the item lost, but who knows, maybe there is a slight chance.

Yeah i feared as much. I had no clue about ~buyback would have been a lifesaver. I was very upset and didn't know there was a solution. First character on mapleroyals.
