Hey . I think it's time to talk about new things that should be implant in the server (my thoughts) . I think moving to v83 like someone had said its a bad idea cause there are cygnus jobs and from my POV 5 classes are enough for the nostalgia. We should implant new places and items and focus on fixing bugs. What's your opiniom guys ?
I'm not sure where I stand on v83, I've only played v55-62. That being said I cant be against it, but all of the new jobs isn't something that appeals to me.
I think if they can remove koc and possibly arans then v83 would be a great version to switch to. That being said, right now the GMs are hard at work trying to right a completely new source for the server. So yeah don't expect any new content until the source is released, hopefully soon.
No you didn't undersrand. Why not to just remove koc and arans and implant the other things to our version ?
Certain features are unavailable using a v62 client (damage reflecting, dojo). If they can remove cok, aran, dimensional mirror, sok and hammers(all I can think of right now) I think that a switch to v83 would be more beneficial than harmful.
Instead of 2020 other threads this should be stick. @ImCanadian I didn't knew that point. Oh so moving to v83 is Great idea and disabling the other things you've mentioned.
I would just sit tight and wait for the new source. I have a feeling that the GMs will surprise us with some new content in the new source. I could be totally wrong though.
Its been long sińce the last big Update Right ? I personally think that the New source is going to surprise us .

It already had /one/ big thread so I really don't see why this one should be the one, especially since this one is a lot less detailed than the previous one.
Because there never was a big update. Most nostalgic private servers don't go through a version update because that defeats of the purpose of being nostalgic. Little information has been released thus far, but this sort of idea is in the minds of the Admins.
I just wish there were more events, I mean I dont know about the past since Im a pretty new player, but i'm talking about quest-like events, where you have to get some items from mobs/kill something etc. and get a reward. I was really hoping for an easter event
Next event is the anniversary event IIRC. Since Halloween, we've been having an event every month-two months. We're having a break because many of us are burnt out from all the events and slight lag.
I think the new source is going to surprise you, we might be feeding more crumbs of information as the release gets closer.
