Hi, I would like to know if this is allowed. If I want to donate, after selecting the Quantity and Payment Method [1], a webpage will pop up [2]. Since my friend doesn't have a credit card, can he provide me with the link to that webpage so that I can use my card? Thank you. [1] [2]
We won't recommend donating of behalf as there have been cases of friends donating for the account but later on charged back due to scam or bank misunderstanding it as a fraud Should that happens, automatic ban would be applied to the account that charged back and the player would have to contact the friend for a resolution
Mainly, if I use this link, I test it by opening an incognito mode, and it does not require me to enter my credentials once, which raises my concerns. Thanks!
This is likely due to your Stripe login being identified via the same IP address Best to avoid such a scenario even for non-Royals purchases as the payment platform (Stripe) may deem it as suspicious transaction too
I'll give you the same thing Tim(the admin) said to me when I had a similar situation - he told me that I can just give him the money, so he can buy it with his own papyal or w/e way it is. My situation was that I wanted to gift a fellow guilde a bit of money so he can buy some donor nx he really wanted but couldn't afford, and I didn't know how can I help him so.. I asked Tim and that's what he said.
I think he was trying this as his friend do not have a credit card Unfortunately, this is something the friend have to resolved (securing a payment method)
Yes, only personal credit methods can be used for donations, not on behalf of others. If you have time, you can test it out. It's speculated that different IPs using the same link can also connect.
That's the norm for any games though, don't recall any games would allow top up on behalf You can submit a Feedback if you feel this part is vague and Staff should address it directly in the T&C https://royals.ms/forum/forums/feedback.3/
I assume you meant the difference between donation (捐款)and recharging(充值) You can use "donation", but we won't penalize you or anything if you prefer the terms such as recharge or top-up
