Hello, I've been back after few weeks hiatus, I downloaded the recent update and while clicking the launcher literally nothing happens. the game neither running nor an error message, while using task manager i can see that the MapleRoyals.EXE for 1 second and it disappeard afterwards. I try to redownloade, reinstall either WZ/IMG from several hosts, remake the exceptions on antivirus and windows defender again, reseting my router and restart the p.c nothing still happens. how do i fix that?
Same here, works on my laptop on my hotspot but not my home PC. Laptop also does not connect to royals.ms site or game server. Seems its something specific with my ISP?...
For players that are unable to run the game (no error messages at all), please try the following - check if your PC have Norton or WebRoot anti-virus installed, if yes - you have to uninstall them - check if you are able to access this website https://cdn.royals.ms/info/mr and see a string of random letters - if yes, you are doing fine (working as intended) - check if your PC is running any other games at the time of launching Royals, as certain official games such as Valorant or Steam games have game guard for anti-piracy (will block Royals)

If you are from the US and using AT&T, please set an exception for this website on the app https://cdn.royals.ms/info/mr (AT&T is blocking the game from auto-update)
Hey all, just fixed this today. There was a McAfee Security setting enabled in my ISP app (Verizon) Sometimes ISP services include these Security scans and they auto block Royals site/game connection, the same way Windows tries to auto block when you first launch. Hope this helps
What has worked for me Step 1. Turn off ALL firewalls; if downloading from google like me you have to turn off your microsoft firewall thingy otherwise files won't even load and just have a virus error message Step 2. by now game should have downloaded the files to actually download the game; open that up and download the game. Step 3. If launching the game and gives error message which at first i got some "bad image" error message i updated my gpu software so make sure all your drivers are up todate. Step 4. we get to this image, what i did was open the MapleRoyals Folder tried to start the game from inside the folder and say a "mapleroyals updater" file inside the folder pop up. got this error message you posted and so i decided to try click the "mapleroyals update" file in the folder and it worked. game started up fine. Don't click the mapleroyals.exe file you will see the update file pop up for me was under the .exe file with same maple leaf icon.
