I'd like to discuss the possibility of adding post bb features on MapleRoyals. Even if it wont ever happen, maybe some features are suitable to be added on here. Of course, things like cubes and 5th job advancement wont happen, but what about the new maps, bosses, and so on? There are some things which can be added and can find their place into here. The question is if its worth working hard to make it happen and if players would be happy with it being added or not.
Lets just say... on post bb, the amount of bosses is insane compared to what we have here, although I dont mean necessarily its your fault or any other staff member fault. This is a classic nostalgic version. It has to be limited in bosses available and so on. But on post bb dont forget they have pink bean, chaos pink bean, Will, Lucid, Chosen Seren, Black mage... and 50 classes to choose from too. I dont say this to attract pre bb players to move to post bb. I just say this to compare. I still enjoy MapleRoyals alot, and its a great server you know. How about consider adding atleast, Pink Bean? Which is a boss which actually exists in current version. Not something to import or anything like that. I understand there is a problem I'm not so sure about which is why the boss isnt available... but I hope we will see this cute bean here one day.
Pink bean is coming I'm sure... problem is PB is HARD AS FUCK without cubing. So will be interesting to see how that plays out. Timeless weapons about to be billions LuL
pointless thread but, if I recall correctly pink bean used to hit like +26k damage, had damage reflect and a huge ass HP pool. a raid that'd take about 12 or 18 players too? so only the so-called elite would be able to deal with it. it would be super cool to see it in-game even if most of us can't ever beat it with our usual characters.
Add db, Aran, and Evan class Add pink bean (somewhat nerfed) Add chaos horntail and chaos zakum (somewhat nerfed) All while NO POTENTIAL
give me Evan and I'm quitting ANY class just to main it! it's my favorite maplestory class ever :^) although that's never happening here in royals.
Yeah, and it would solve the major problem of people wanting to boss with magic based classes. Although Evan still cannot compete with funded W.ATK users at endgame, they're still strong enough to be useful in boss runs. This is coming from someone who was #1 Evan in another popular server a few years ago. Dual Blades are kinda in a similar position but they scale better with W.ATK; if I had to describe them, jack of all trades but master of none. Great for casual players who want to be able to farm and do boss runs without having to make a farmer/bosser. Arans on the other hand... unless the PSB is removed or nerfed, they are wayyyy to OP. They excel in survivability, 1v1 damage, mobbing and mobility. You name it, they got it. LOL
Sorry i know this is a super old post but I just saw your response and wanted to chime in. Alot of us attackers bypassed most of Pink Beans mechanics by simply loading up on Wheel's of Fortunes. Only issue we ever had was doing enough damage within the 1 hour time limit. Since we dont have any p2w garbage here, I am super excited whenever we do get Pink Bean as it'll feel like the more pure way the Boss should be taken on and hopefully someday defeated.
