Probably too pleb to ever reach 18k for ginger Mufasa, but would be nice to have a reference point for progression otherwise. Thank you.
Best thing to do would be checking guides for the jobs you are interested in. The experts of their respective fields probably know better than I do. Some guides may be old and fairly out-dated but I do not recall any shift in BiS gear. Only that due to new content it's easier to gain stats and therefor equip gear that previously was very hard to viably wear. Not sure when Ellin Forest had been added to the game. But there is a 1 atk ring now. Rose Garden drops another new Ring that can grant you up to +7 All-Stat. There is also a Von Leon Belt now that gives attack, alltough that is lvl 200 content. The tl;dr will be the highest level gear you can equip with a few exceptions. Ignoring defense, the only thing that matters is the stats or watk gained on the gear. The level 110 items are generally hard to obtain and offers just a few points of stats more than the level 100 stuff. Surely better, but if that is worth the price-tag is up to you. In most cases, if you are interested in these items you're probably grinding it yourself. (I am definitly not 1m nx dry on Perion for a BDA) Anyway, Warrior Overall vs Top+Bot Overall is better than Top+Bot, however you're probably lvl 200 before getting interested to switch. Both (m) and (f) Top and Bot are abbundantly available and scrolls are very cheap. On a side note. Female BiS Bot is better than the Male BiS Bot, Also the female level 80 OA are much easier to find. However, The fairly rare and expensive Blue Dragon Armor is BiS and unisex. Sky Ski Ski's are BiS Spears. While being a bit overrated, Ski's are a fair amount better than the alternatives when you are only considering End-Game Claymore vs Stonetooth Tooth is faster, however with SI both hit the Attack-Speed-Cap. Claymore will be better if you can guarantee to have SI (muling yourself f.e.). However, it's generally recommended to go for a ST instead. Sword vs Axe Axes have been buffed a while ago, I do not recall what buff exactly. However when looking at the Range Leaderboards on the Forum, considering the sample size. Axes seem to be pretty much on par with Swords. Allthough you cannot share them with your CR mule, Both Axes and their Scrolls are basically free compared to Swords. 1h vs 2h (Swords) There is still a discussion going. With perfect gear, in a vaccuum only, considering damage. The general consensus is that 2h will beat 1h. 1h vs 2h (BW) 1h will already easily hit damage cap. As of now, 2h is just not viable. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Bowmaster Crimson Arclancer is BiS, it has the same atk as a DSB but also comes with a little bit of DEX. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Nightlord TT and L7 use a special formula that does not include STR, DEX or Mastery. Since you're likely using TT for 99.99% of your NL career, its a matter of requiring as little DEX as possible. Just like any other job, you prefer scrolling your gear with secondary stats instead of primary, since Maple Warior only boosts your Base Stats. RC vs DPS I recently read that its not very viable to go for a DPS considering what equips you are viably able to wear. A DPS requires 10 more DEX and comes with 4 more atk than a RC. For an end-game NL that 4 atk translates to about 16 Luk, if you can wear it without sacrificing more than 16/1.1=~14.5 Base Luk (mw20), I guess it'll be better. Top+Bot vs OA Viably wearing a OA will probably require a finsihed Auf. If you get there, you probably know better than me. Regardless, its simply the best you can equip with your current Claw. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Shadower HTP vs MoN Shadowers not only need STR to wear their BiS gear, they also gain damage from 2 secondary Stats (STR and DEX). Allstat gear is very good for them. If you are able to equip Kanjar and Kanzir without a HTP you are part of a select few elite Shads on this server. Quest Medals vs Card Medal Same story as HTP vs MoN, Quest Medal grants you all-stat wich is very good. However the Card Medal gives you a lot more HP wich may or may not be better for you. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Mage Ele Staffs are better than the Wands, but require a wooping 163 Base Luk. Mages gain even less than NL from their secondary stats, so it's quite an endeavor to viably equip a Staff. What Ele Wand for Bish? It doesnt matter, the original penalty of -10% Holy Damage from Ele Wands has been removed on this server. However, Ele Wand 6 comes very commonly from Shrine and is therefor the cheapest. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Pirate I believe every end-game Pirate I know just has highest level gear equiped they can.
