Solved [Solution Given] Game Crashes on New Character Selection

I have an already-made character that I can play perfectly fine. However, when I use another account (or the same account) to create a new character, the game immediately crashes after I enter my PIC with no error code. I couldn't find any other threads with this specific issue, only threads where people's game crashes after entering their PIC regardless of whether it's a new or existing character.

My guess is that it's something with the game files regarding what happens when you first create a character. Again, I can log in to pre-existing characters perfectly fine with no issues. I tried reinstalling the game and restarting my computer to no avail.

Hello! After the new patch, the game is now crashing on character select after entering PIC. Both new and existing characters LOL so it seems my problem has gotten worse. No error code either.

 

Update: I was able to create a new character on the same account and get into the game. However, I have not been able to access my main character (IGN: RamCountry) for quite some time as it crashes after PIC. I am also able to access my mule perfectly fine (IGN: PlexyPlox)

Is there a reason I'm not able to access my main character (RamCountry), but can play other characters on the same account, and also mule characters on other accounts? I'm guessing there's something wrong with just that specific character? Sucks that it's my main, too. Been trying to figure this out for the past couple weeks, any help is greatly appreciated as I really miss playing!

 

Yes I am also using Crossover on Mac! Sorry forgot to mention that.

Yes I have installed the latest patch. Attempted both IMG and WZ to no avail. I do not remember the last location of my character as it has been a couple weeks since I had access last ):

 

Okay thanks, sounds good! Still having the same problem. I was able to randomly login a couple of days ago. What I did was sat on the PIC screen for a couple of minutes before hitting ok/enter. and it worked! super strange. some people said to just keep trying over and over again but no matter how many times I attempted to open a million different clients and rushing through the login and quickly entering my PIC it never worked lol. funny how the solution for me was to just have some patience

BUT that only worked once and now it's not working. keeps crashing after PIC. Problem seems to be "intermittent" but with a 99% fail rate lol

 

I can confirm this did not work at the time. It still crashed after hitting "select character" with no PIC.
However, my character now randomly seems to be working fine after entering my PIC. The problem seems to have fixed itself after a few weeks! Thanks anyways haha!
