Correct. Most people doing point cycling washes (1 out of MP, directly into HP with a single reset) just leave a point in HP because it makes things easier and one AP isn't going to make a big difference in your dmg. You can always just calculate the min MP for your class based on level, and then figure how many washes you will have. If you miscalculate, you should only be off by a point or so, which will work itself out after you level up a few times. So long as you're not levelling to 200, it's just a temporary accident.
I don't know how I did this but I'm under the MP limit... 41*14+148= 722 mp should be my minimum but I got 717
Hi, I have a couple of questions. I am a lv 75 outlaw doing double wash and I wanted to know how much MP is gained per lvl normally (without base int or int gear) and also how much HP is gained per lvl. Currently I have 120 base int plus 41 int from equips, and from lvl 74 to 75 I gained 39 MP. When I added 1 reset point to HP from MP I gained 18 HP instead of 20 as the guide says, and I checked other guide and it said I was supposed to gain 18 HP. Also, the formula for pirate here for min MP says 18*Lvl + 111 but I read that that's only for 1st job and for 2nd job and onwards it is 18*Lvl + 95 but I am not sure if that's true or not. Thanks in advance.
In another thread, matt posted the code to do with level up. However, this is not the code that handles MP washing. So without any base int or equips, you will gain 22-28 HP per level and 18-23 MP per level. This is also not the code that deals with adding a point into HP, but that should show a similar (though lower) range. 18-22 sounds appropriate, considering that most classes have a 4 point range, and that this would put 20 as the average gain for putting a point into HP. You just got unlucky. The 39 MP should be accurate. You're getting 16 from your total int on level up, and got lucky and had 23 from the level itself. While the min MP formula does change for thieves after they hit second job, it actually gets higher, not lower. Same for warriors. Bowmen to the best of my knowledge don't change. Either way this is one extra wash you're talking about - it's not that big a deal.
@jmmainvi Thanks a lot, that was exactly what I was looking for, and well maybe the range for HP reset is 18-22 I guess I will find out doing more washes, and about the min MP formula I know it is almost no difference I was just pointing out so maybe someone can confirm it, but maybe it just doesn't matter. Thanks again.
I am a lvl 104 Hermit with HP 4351 and MP 1971. I have used 48 AP into HP but I haven't used any ap resets at all. Which lvl will I reach when I have 5.5k HP with 60 INT ? edit : Which lvl will I reach when I have 5.5k HP with 50 INT ? I need answer on both questions, if possible. But mainly the 60 int one. Thanks in advanced! =)
I've been reading this thread but still have some direct questions I'd like to see if anyone can help on. My plan is to HP wash on my planned warrior class ( I'm still torn on what I'm making, it's really a toss up with all three because I've played all three in global and loved each of them in different ways ), with 30k hp being the goal. Is it advisable to add a good chunk of base INT for washing? I know in the long run it'll cost a lot in AP resets to undo the INT, but I'm voting daily and stashing the NX for later washing and this is a long term goal. The issue is I REALLY want to be able to play the character, too, and not just rely on self-leeching to level :/ It might sound crazy, but I enjoy the long haul to train a character and I feel like having a high base INT ( I was debating between 100 and 200 base ) will REALLY SUCK to play the character. Or should I just focus on attempting to obtain godly INT equips instead so I can enjoy my training? I know the sooner you start HP washing the better, but is there a cutoff to start where it becomes start now or it's a waste?
I have two clarifications regarding this method for my corsair (washing it to 5.6k HP). 1. According to this post, an increase of 20HP is guaranteed for pirates using this method; for some reason mine only gives 18HP per AP reset used? I used 2 AP resets just to check for variability and both times it's an increase of 18HP per reset, is there something wrong here? 2. The initial AP (from level up) you add into HP, how do you end up making up for that 1 lost Dex stat? Thank you
Does anyone have an estimate howmuch washes needed for a Hero to HT at 155? Or solo BF around that lvl aswell? Any ideas on howmany to cap hp by later game? It looks like I can only get about 60Int from Gear at my funding so should I go 40 base-60 gear? or Higher base with the gear. That is a setup for 100 washes but I dont know if i will need more or less. My goal is to be able to be effective in a HT fight at 150-157. Not sure what my goal for washes is but most people say around 100 is good. Im making Hero
Is it possible to keep washing with natural MP per level growth without investing in INT gear? I only have 4 base INT, and zero INT gear. I've washed a good 15 - 20 times now or so, and hit minium MP last level. Lvl 91 Ranger Current MP: 1424 Min Mp: 91 * 14 + 148 = 1422
