Hi fellow maplers, I already have a bishop and was thinking of making a second mage. Which is more useful for to have F/P or I/L. I know petri is weak to fire so F/P have the advantage there. Are there any additional benefits to F/P and any benefits to making a I/L mage? ^^
Petri aren't weak to fire, they're neutral vs all elements. FPs get cheaper wands and meteor shower is easier to get than blizzard. Rose garden IL might have a slight edge? I'm not sure, I'd need someone who's run both of those to answer. @Green Mind any idea? I've heard IL has better boss but not sure about bonus.
IL does have the less annoying RG since they have less climbing to do in bonus and the rhinos walk faster making it easier to lure the bottom platform spawn into ulti range. As for boss they're kind of even: IL wastes less time when controlling the spawn (ice demon + chain lightning vs. poison mist + paralyze/slow + elquines) but FP does more damage to the boss 1 on 1. It's all RNG though, my IL had a revolting 26.5 min for 20 bees bonus yesterday. Actually IL is kind of falling off, wand 7 prices are the lowest I've seen in years (but still more expensive than other colors).
