Fixed Client randomly crashes at times

It occurs completely randomly during AFKing in FM ch1 or during active gameplay (last time was during RG boss fight so I lost RG for that day...).
Sometimes it takes 2 hours and sometimes it's not more than 30 minutes into the game.
After the crash there's no error message, just the Desktop.
I've had problems regarding Windows Defender claiming the game contains some malware, but I added the files to the exclusion list.
I got the IMG client.

It's so frustrating, I can't play like this...

Any advice will be appreciated!

 

I've been having the same issue, are you on windows 11 by any chance? game also just shuts off randomly for me, no errors, just poof.
(Seen a LOT of posts about it through google over at maplelegends, many many posts) and they all had windows 11 too.

How about an AMD cpu? they mention both on other posts I've seen, if not that, then perhaps this issue is something else entirely, hope it gets looked into as I get it constantly too

I have this issue on ONE of my characters, which is weird af!

So I actually have multiple clients running for my mules, but ONLY the client that is logged into my main will crash and it's random.
And what's weird is that when the client crashes, I will obviously reopen another client to log in again but THAT client will crash again randomly some time later.
Even if I use one of the existing opened clients that's logged in to my mules to try and log into my main, THAT client will then crash.
But NONE of the clients hosting my mules will crash.

Is it a character issue?! I don't get it and it's frustrating me becos I'm afraid I'd crash during an APQ run.

FYI, already crashed more than 10 or 20 times randomly in the span of maybe 2 or 3 days.

P.S. I'm also on Windows 10. Files have already been included in exclusion list too but still keep getting malware notification every other day. But will always rectify/restore/allow. Still keeps recurring.

Well, the main thing is that my other clients with my mules never crashes. Only the one logged into my main. Which makes me think my main is bugged.

 

It could be related to a specific NX item your main is wearing, or a specific skill you're using.

It sounds frequent enough that it's probably not the shop bug, right? (Viewing sales of a hired merchant causes you to crash at some point later on, and just selling items in a permit causes the same issue)

 

Wait sales while afk with shop permit is known to crash??
I was going crazy why my store (basic permit) never makes it through the night, find that it crashed in the morning.
Although sometimes I crash without any sale made

Heck... Never heard of this issue before but checking my store is a daily routine for me, so it might indeed be the reason I crash.

THIS makes so much sense to me becos I've only just gotten the basic shop permit on my main maybe 2 or 3 days ago, and on hindsight, I THINK the crashes only occurred thereafter. And I've been frequently in the FM in the last couple of days, maybe that's why it's so frequent. I didn't open the basic shop permit today, and I don't think any crashes occurred today too. I think my mystery is solved. Thank you so much! <3
