Hi, I got a general question and I couldn't find a better place to open the thread, so sorry if it's the incorrect place. So I do know that remapping your keys is completely fine (e.g. when I click on P in my keyboard software or whatever would translate it to N), as long as it's a one to one action. I wanted to ask if remapping a keyboard key into a mouse click in a specific location would also be considered a one-to-one action, or would that be illegal to do? Thanks
As long as you don't hold down the key for the repeat it's probably fine. But holding a key is one action and getting multiple clicks is multiple actions, similar to how you shouldn't bind click to scroll wheel.
that what im thinking but you could argue that this is 2 actions - 1. move mouse 2. click. so I want to make sure
The main thought was switching windows but I learned about other options so I might not really need it
