QoL idea: instead of recieveing the "you may not use this skill yet" when trying to use a skill on cooldown, to recieve a message showing how long until the skill comes off cooldown. message example: "You may not use this skill yet, please wait x minutes and x seconds". edit: ive seen this idea coming up with having timers on the skill UI and being declined, so might get a no on the idea but still worth a try, i feel like such a change will mostly benefit newer players who dont have sense for the gray cooldown on the current UI more than it will benefit experienced players who follow cooldowns using chat to prompt cd. this change also doesnt seem completely gamebreaking because you still need to put the skill on the UI to be able to see the cooldowns, otherwise clicking on the skill to recieve the cooldown left input would be taking risk of applying skill in the case its off cooldown.
I found a post from Zancks discussing cooldowns in this thread half a year ago: Adding a timer for skills on cooldown I like the idea of your implementation, including it in the chat as it already serves the message saying its on cooldown but I do agree that there a pretty much just a few niche edge-cases where it'd really be worthwhile.
These two arguements from the recent feedback still stand and reflect staff opinion about this idea too. Micromanagement for tracking cooldowns can be done without this by using the Serverclock UI for example There already is a system to visualize cooldowns on the quickslot UI Nevertheless thanks for your feedback!
