So, as the title says, I am a new player, its been some time since the last time ive played MS and boy i am so glad to be back I created a warrior with an intention of becoming a Hero but unfortunately i cant seem to find any decent guide here, last ones from 2016. So some tips from you guys would be greatly appreciated, and also tips in general, regarding a Hero or just things that are useful. Oh yeah, and id love to meet and play with new people! I used to have a high level Night Lord back then on GMS and i am not a completely noob just a returning player ) My IGN is: Doctorat I wish you an amazing day to who ever is reading this!!
Welcome back! First and most of all. It's a game, you're supposed to have fun. If you are not having a blast while playing this game, what the fuck are you doing? Feel free to remind yourself of this when people claim you should be doing things you don't enjoy ! 1) Get a Zakum Helm at level 50 2) Get a Horntail Pendant at level 120, then you can go figuring out what a MoN is and how to get one (and if you care enough to get a good one) Use this to level your first char or if you feel stuck grinding until 4rth job . https://royals.ms/forum/threads/quests-worth-doing-2-0.185825/ Make sure to complete the Ellin Forest Quest Chain. You'll get a very good (+3 All Stat) Medal and unlock 2 bosses, Chao and Ephinia you can solo 2x per day for very good value for your time. Collecting Monster Cards or completing (a dickload) of quests rewards you with a medal that are going to be very worth going. Monster Card is generally better but the Quest Medal is more fun and SIGNIFICANTLY MORE FLEX. Definitely try to check off the Olaf's Assignment Quest Chain as much as you can. https://royals.ms/forum/threads/an-adventurers-assignment-questline-guide-olaf.218626/ Some items might hold some unexpected value (scrolls and etc) This is a very well respected Price Guide for anything worthwhile https://royals.ms/forum/threads/yet-another-price-guide.210342/ Make sure to vote everyday on the homepage on the website. Selling APR is very easy and consistent way of making some good money for people starting out. Gacha is always more fun, also every Gacha is good. Some have more items that might be harder to price, other are more inconsistent. You can have as many accounts and mules as you desire, feel free to live your hoarder fantasy. Yes, you are allowed to sextuple client if you want to. READ THE RULES, PLEASE, READ THE G'DAMN RULES, YES THEY ARE THE SAME AS FOR ANY GAME BUT HERE THEY ARE ACTUALLY ENFORCED. THE LAST 20 YEARS YOU JUST QUICKLY BLINKED UPON SOME TEXT AND BE LIKE "LOL, NOBODY CARES" AND YOU HAVE ACTUALLY NEVER READ THE RULES READ THE FUCKING RULES Anyway, just play the game. Do whatever you want to do, read the guides. Yes, most seem very outdated but neither of them will tell you something that will make you "mess up" your characters in any way. With one exception, the HP-Washing thing. Just ignore everything you read about it. There are many viable ways to gain more HP now. You won't need it for a Hero anyway. When at some point people start telling you Hero is weak, fuck them. If you actually keep playing this game long enough that such a thing starts to matter, you already have geared up NL, BM and Bishop and you don't care because it's Buddy Lists, Guilds and Alliances that dictate if your ability find groups for content. Not your class. I go bossing on a IL Mage People want to play with friends. Not with some 69420 range NL that will Apple for a Zakum run. Make sure to add people to your Buddy List. Don't be a dick, help people out. Once you hit bossing level, 135~150. Bring some extra Elixirs, All Cure Potions and PET FOOD. People will forgot such items all the time. They will remember you helped them out. tl;dr Go feel the nostalgia. Play the game however you want. There is no way to "mess up" you characters. Don't be a dick Please, read the rules. wb and glhf grinding
Everything said here. Words straight from god. My personal hero guide would be: 1. Equip weapon. Axe or sword, both are OK. 2. Click Brandish button. 3. Have fun. Hakuna Matata.
-Get rush lvl 1 as early as possible. -If you plan to CWKPQ you'll need amorian baskets to ensure 100% hit on thief boss (it has very high avoidability) -Getting to 140 speed and 123 jump is possible with a mix of equips and 3 pets, done it quite late and it made gameplay much more fun. -The best way to skip the annoying levels with low level Brandish or unmaxed Advanced Combo attack is Bigfoot apple kills and Ellin Forest prequests from lvl 125-127. -Don't daily pap before max stance unless you are fine with mass dispell.
