This was so well done I thought I was reading the Blacklist guild thread until I double checked

 

Somewhat half asleep, I read this multiple times trying to make sense of it before I realized it was literally a troll post.

When you drop an item you are aware that it can be picked up by others, and temporarily forfeiting ownership until it is re-looted. Someone should not be blacklisted for capitalizing on your mistakes. Your laziness is your own fault, you should have traded yourself.

Just as the dust was settling and saledor was just starting up his revenge arc, this happens.

could always /trade xxxx without even clicking and it is whole map wide.

wouldn't it solve/prevent all the "loot" "stole" problems.

 

I think this person should probably be blacklisted if they do not return the cape. That said, it is so frustrating that people are *STILL* drop trading even after knowing the risks. And drop trading outside the rose garden, one of the highest traffic areas makes this even more foolish on your part. If you do not get the cape back, then the only person you can really blame is yourself, and I hope you at least have learned to avoid drop trading from now on.

It's also probably not reasonable to expect a "loan cape" from the guy's guild, and it is also probably best to avoid throwing accusations of account sharing, even though you are rightfully very angry.

 

Reminds me of @Selendis / lartanis / diviness who traded me his 148/21 carabella in APQ instead of the hammer at stage 1.

 

Unpopular Opinion: it's your own fault.

You decided to drop trade, and you paid the price.

Saledor's case is different, as someone accidently dropped their claymore and he picked that up, and well - you know the rest.

This is you, KNOWINGLY dropping your bfc around people, then losing it after it was looted by a closeby person.

Sure, it can count as.. lets say a bit of an 'asshole' behavior, but It's not an accident nor a mistake.

I wouldn't blacklist this dude.

Also - watch it when you accuse others of rule breaks without any proof, It's rude.

If any player is within reach in that same room you drop your stuff - then yes, he is close by.
close by doesn't have to be 1 feet away.

What’s even funnier is that the guy who took it from you was someone who actively memed about it on my case. See? Forums filled with hypocrites again.

the real reason I got blacklisted was not because I did anything wrong, it was because the people who wanted to get me banned couldn’t one up me after I proved my innocence so they had to bring up something that happened in April 2023 during December 2023. Even the player himself admitted it was his fault. Harsh reality for them but it’s true considering how this has happened in other precedents both before and after my case but their morals were taking a holiday.

Where were their morals for those 8 months? But I digress, the blacklist for some reason made more people come up to me to fame me and pming me how stupid they thought those clowns were. I think I even got a huge donation from a friend because he didn’t like what happened so W(?)


Unironically, as someone who does not enjoy bossing, the blacklist made more people pm me to join their boss runs, which made it annoying for me to turn them down so I guess the blacklist does work lol.

stop drop trading your items. If you did, you can ask for it back nicely and pray the person returns it back to you. He is not entitled to do so. Stop crying about it when things don’t go exactly how you want them to go you karens/snowflakes/whatever terms you identify as. The world don’t owe you shit.

Haha look at you still trying to talk around yourself. The problem in my eyes wasn't even about you looting from a person who's drop trading don't fucking drop trade. The person didn't even drop trade in the first place right? The person had dropped the item on a mistake right? You talk about taking accountability, but in your ban appeal you made it clearly seem like you got an donation, not that you had looted from someone who had made a seemingly completely clueless mistake. Saledor u really are a generalizing down bad man talking about accountability and shit like you didn't do anything wrong by the rules, everyone knows that already, it wasn't even about that.
