New source mount guide

hi can some one help me please?

i have a hog lvl 10 and my charctar is lvl 120, so i thought i will do the silver mane quest and it isnt available so i thought maybe because i got the hog from the area when you didnt had to do the quest to get one and suddenly i saw that the part wihere i should get the pheromon in leafre isnt available also, can someone please help me?

 

Same issue as above, I dropped the hog and the quest did not appear....

 

Have you done your 4th job advancement? The Silver Mane quest appeared only after I had done so.

 

Sorry for bumping old thread, but I've gotten hog before the source changed and I've now recently gotten Lv120. I'm a Beginner and I've read some of these comments needing 4th job or that you need to drop the mount to start the quest and etc. Since my case is very peculiar, I don't want to lose my hog forever just to find out I can't do the quest.

(Note. I have the Monster Riding quest in progress and I can go inside the protect the watch hog just fine. But I'm not sure how it is for beginners because I read somewhere it was removed for beginners then added so beginners could also get the quest? There's no Silver Hog quest that's appearing, so if I could get a clear answer that I can re-do the quest and not lose my hog in the process, that would be awesome.) Otherwise, I guess I'll just keep my walking bacon until level 200.

I actually dropped my perfyme, and didn't get the hog. And now i have no idea how i get a new one? any tips

 

You're supposed to double click on the parfume in your inventory when youre close to the hog. Since you dropped it you basically destroyed the item and have to get a new one.

 

hey i was just wondering if anyone had a problem with getting the silver mane, my friend is having an issues with the quest not even showing up. the reg hod is lv11 and shes 140
so were not sure what the issue. we will also be sending a ticket but i was just wondering if someone will answer and had the same issue

 

do you have the hog for a long time? (like 5 years or something)

nx mounts do affect the mount hitbox
I verified in CWK, when u are doing the vertical JQ with the sigils and portal at the top, around mage sigil u get hit with Drake even tho u dont see anything, but using nx cake mount im not getting hit
nx mount = better
