The inventory appears at the top right of the client by default. This can ruin screenshots by covering the server clock, particularly screenshots captured in the heat of the moment for reports. Here are two stacked clients showing the server clock position and the default inventory position:
The client is supposed to remember the positioning of where you place the different windows. When the Dev had did some tinkering with the client last year, the item inventory window placement got messed up. There's been no eta on when they'll fix it. Hopefully this will be a good reminder.
