Hello! New player in Royal and started an itonman character. What would be the best option between Dexless, LowDex, or PureLuk Sin for ironman?
I'd recommend going Dexless and trying Low-dex to eventually equip Red Craven. But it might take a super long time for you to do so (solo Zakum on Ironman sin?)
Solo Zakum on ironman Sin is the goal! I intended for this to be a very long term project anyways so that's not a problem. I'll try out dexless and see how it goes. Thanks!
It is feasible to obtain maple claws at respective milestones for a sin. The endgame should be Zak Helms, and eventually equipped with a red craven. Good luck with the challenge
What's the difference between pureluk and dexless? Anyway you don't want dex until the very end game.
The way I've always understood it is: DEXless: Not adding AP into DEX, using equipment to reach DEX thresholds LowDEX: Adding some AP into DEX, supplemented with equipment to reach DEX thresholds PureLUK: Never getting any DEX, pumping everything into LUK unless equipment also happens to give DEX eg. Zakum Helmet
got it, so you should probably play PureLuk until you can get a zhelm, didn't do much calulation but it feels more efficient than play with a craven and 120 base dex.
Little late to the party here, but as a fellow Iron NL (atm lvl 158). Here are my 3 cents on Iron NL gearing. Forget the Zhelm for now. The old strats of "waiting for it to run out of mp" is not a thing anymore since a while ago monster-mp got "fixed" It was at 95% hp after 6 hours on b3 when I gave up (it was 6:30 in the morning, pls stfu xD) I'll try again once I maxed 4rth job push skill. The main issue for us Irons to get a decent claw is NOT the claw itself. It is getting Claw 30. I do not know the stats but I do know my friend went little over 2m nx on Kerning Gacha before and got 13x claw 30. I have gotten more Claw 30 at Shrine than at Kerning. Additionally, getting a decent DPS to throw your 30's on is much more viable than waiting (or grinding) for a decent RC. RC's are very common in the normie world but that's because they drop at Ulu2 wich is an absolutely insane map for mages. Not for NL. It is much easier to start out Dexless. You have decent access to Luk 60/70 OA scrolls (30's common from Kerning Gacha). Once you hit lvl 100 or 110 it is usually worth to go for any amount of Base DEX you need to equip the weapon. Last pro tip. Don't waste your LUK ores. Best I've gotten was on +15% event drop chance, +?% drop chance from a dodo card in ToT and I got about 4-5 Luk Ores per hour.
