There's a difference between selling at whatever price you want and deceiving people on purpose thinking they are buying a clean item.

I agree that putting things for the wrong price trying to mislead people is scummy, which is exactly what the blacklist is for. If it was actually against the rules it would be posted in the report forum

 

maybe people should just open their eyes before they purchase something. Just a thought idk

 

I mean sure, buying something without looking at what you buy it not very smart.
Doesn't mean trying to trick people shouldn't be at least frowned upon.

 

Look im fine with believing people should have their own accountability. I do believe both a person should have their own agency and be responsible for their own actions. But I also believe that people who intentionally try to take advantage of people should also be held accountable as well.

I havent the faintest clue how you can supposedly find a bwg in the fm and not even check the attack OR the slots remaining, and your first instinct is to assume its clean and then put it in your shop stating its clean and selling for clean price. The explaination is hard to believe. If he came in here and said "Yup my bad i wasnt paying attention" and only that I'd have believed him. I'm willing to assume people are mostly innocent and that mistakes can be made, but then he went on to call people "angry nerds" and had a combative and somewhat arrogant attitude after. I been around this game long enough and on the internet long enough to know when someone is projecting cause they got caught and called out for something.

 

Has anyone gone to check up on his shop and see if he's even removed it?

As per the game's terms and conditions:
7. Scamming - The act of intentionally defrauding others during in-game transactions to gain any sort of advantage over other players

Attempting to trick people into buying a 6 slot bwg or weapon at the same price as if it were clean would fall into this definition. In the case of Buunana, he put the 6 slot BWG for sale multiple times while repeatedly advertising 'clean BWG', a blatantly obvious scam attempt.

Yes, sorry. Wouldn’t want to upset anyone. I just find it funny that others can swarm together and post whatever they want about anyone without really much evidence. For such a small community, it sure is pretty toxic.

However, the moment someone fights back or argues, they are being “childish”.

It's not that arguing back is childish, it's the way you argue back I think is childish.

And you are flooding even with just 6 posts. Instead of making an actual reasonable point back, or just, I don't know, answer all the comments in one response, you instead make multiple comments to address each individual person with a bunch of nothing burgers.

 

There are multiple people on both sides of this debate who I deeply respect. There are two very different ways of viewing it, and so the issue divides people. There are those who believe it is a scam, and there are those who believe people can price things however they like, and it is up to the buyer to check what they are buying. Those in the latter camp think those in the former camp are being ridiculous for blacklisting over this.

Still can't see the problem here? Well, imagine that somebody wants to blacklist you for defaming them (once), and other members of the community support that. Would you just be all polite and chill here about it? Or would you be rather annoyed and frustrated that your reputation is being tarnished for something that you personally consider to be unreasonable?

It's the same idea. It's a subjective values thing.

This is all why so many Royalers just view the blacklist as a meme at this point.

1. Does anybody else see the irony here?
2. What a slippery slope this really is. Where do we draw the line? Don't forget that the KC 84/6 KC was priced at 500 mil, whereas a KC 84/7 is listed as 600 mil in the Sylafia guide. If the KC is blacklist-able, then why not this as well?

This would be considered shop scamming as well.
