Hey guys just started playing today after 15 years and i barely remember how to play .
I read a guide about fire poison magician that says to use the points ONLY for INT .
Is that correct ? I'm a newbie at level 18 and can't buy any clothing or weapon because of it . Everything need LUK.

Yep, just int. Those equips you're looking at aren't really worth the luk spent to wear them - you'd be spending like 20-30 luk in order to gain what, 10 extra int maybe? Meaning you just lost 10-20 potential total int.

Once you hit lv 35 you can use a maple staff, with a new maple weapon at 43 and 64, and elemental wand at lv 70 (and higher lv one at 130). None of these take luk and they tend to be strong.

Once you hit lv 50 you can get a zakum helm which has 13-17 luk on a clean one, which helps in wearing a low level robe for a few extra int.

Yes, that's the standard build for every mage. Typically you'd use Wooden Wand until you can equip Maple Staff at lvl 35 like Sylafia mentioned. At lvl 20 you can get a Bathrobe scrolled for Int. Other Lukless equips: Green bandana, ragged cape, single earring, yellow work gloves. Get these scrolled for int if you can. For leveling and meso making I'd recommend wild boars in Perion (although they're quite crowded right now). Genin in Ninja Castle (accessible through Palanquin in Mushroom Shrine) are also a good option for exp. After you hit 2nd job I'd just stay at Ninja Castle since many of the mobs there are weak to fire and have a great exp/hp ratio (Genin, Ashigaru, Chunin, Kunoichi). Once you max out poison breath you can then move to Jesters/Death Teddies/Blue Kents.
