IGN:AmeSin Hey Royal team I was banned for glitch abuse (Bwg showa town purple fox tails) about 6-7 years ago. In that time I have got a new PC and moved states the games letting me log in now (I didn't even make a new character yet). I come asking you to consider to re open my case from 2018. I would ideally like to have the option one day to come back to Royals. Let me start by apologizing for such behavior I understand you want to protect and maintain a healthy, friendly player base. I was an idiot and made a big mistake. I thought at worst I'd get a warning and be temp banned. I deserved the perma. I honestly didn't understand the severity of the situation and never have even thought about it as a glitch but an exploit I guess in a way I felt proud and smart for figuring this out when in reality I should have@GM and explained what I found. even to this day I can't believe I screwed up my trust with the best Pserver for my favorite childhood game. That's why instead of Sneaking online with new everything and hiding I want to be honest. Hi there! I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but in addition to abusing the glitch you were also caught major vote abusing during the initial investigation into your account back in 2017. The note I found about this incident back in 2017 in the ban log stated that the previous Staff at the time were considering on lowering the ban for glitch abuse-- until they discovered the major vote abuse, which is what made the ban stay permanent. From the previous Ban Appeal you've linked, it's unclear to me whether or not you participated in actual vote abuse, (we don't have access to those logs, only the Admins do) but the chat logs that were posted in the ban log showed proof of you intending to vote abuse as much as you could discussing it with another player. I'll still request an Admin to doublecheck for clarity, because this is an older Appeal so they'd have more knowledge on the situation than I do. I want to thank you for taking the time to apologize, and the remorse for abusing the glitch. I also want to thank you for asking about it first instead of sneaking back in, and wanting to be open and honest about everything upfront with us.
Vote Abuse? Wow that make sense.. I was working an office job sometimes and used the Wifi at my old job and had free time didn't have much maple time so I made sure I could atleast vote on my phone. I remember asking a gm or someone if that's alright. They said it SHOULD be fine and I always had worries on the side but I didn't wanna miss a vote because at that era of Maple Royals it was so brutal you needed 2 YEARS of voting to get enough APR to be a Corsair. I can genuinely tell you I did not mean to trigger anything in the system. I can honestly tell you my wrong doings were the glitch abuse and I'm really sorry about that I was clueless and made poor judgment however I never Intended for Vote Abuse. I'm very curious how that triggered something like that. It could of been something as dumb as my wifi is horrible and I'm trying to vote and it wouldn't load so I would keep hitting Vote until it said you have successfully voted. I would be thrilled to come back to this game as an escape to my life. I lost my job, 6 year relationship during Covid I lost my house after helping my parents pay off months and months of rent. I Ended up having to be homeless for 6 months while living in a 12 foot trailer with my parents in a pop out tent in Tucson AZ I lost everything and slowly started to rebuild my life I'm in a apartment now with a decent job but still would help me mentally to be able to drift away in maple world again on a populated trustworthy server. Seriously you guys have no Idea what a second chance can do for someone like me I get you wanna keep bad apples out. I'm not a bad apple I can prove that If I were to have a second chance to have at least one last new adventure that I need in my life right now and meet some new friends I appreciate you Becca for listening to my rant!! Hey sorry for the reply.. I left out critical information! I am not sure if you were referring to the (glitch abuse talking about it with another player). I admitted to that in the old ban appeal thread there was nothing mentioned about vote abuse. It just states they banned me for glitch abuse. If I ended up Vote abusing It was not intended and I'm sincerely sorry and really hope for 1 chance after 8 years. I don't intend to cause any issues or break any rules ever again. I just would really love a chance to start fresh and be a good Mapler make friends and abide by the rules and ask questions to things I'm unsure about.
If you believe the ban of vote abuse was issued by mistake, you may elaborate further on your voting habits Such as do you alternate between accounts, or do you only strictly vote on one account (list the main IGN of it)
Hello It's been 8 years, so you will have to forgive me if I'm not right about this but as I remember I just had one account and I had multiple characters. The only one by memory I can think of is Amesin, AmeStar I believe as well again it's been a very long time I'm just trying to remember the best I can. I just know in the original ban appeal where they issued the ban It was never stated anything about vote abuse which makes me confused, therefore I'm hoping to get a second chance due to the circumstances I thought possibly appropriate. reading back on the ban log your intentions were very bad for the glitch abuse case, I've banned the account you created last sunday as well, unfortunately your ban will stand
