All Your Character Names: Deztny, Dezarm, both just created
Last thing you did: Tried to log in the first time (client crash post character selection)
Why do you think you got banned?: I have NordVPN installed, but did not connect to any other IP
Ban message when attempting to log in: Instant client crash, no message
What GM banned you (optional): N/A

Note: I am using Mac Air M2, with Crossover and Better Display, was able to open up the client and get into character selection, but right after character selection client immediately crashed/closed.

    Hello,

What you are describing is a MAC ban. If you just created those characters and have not played Royals yet and have been unable to login at all, you likely have a faulty MAC address. You will need to fix your faulty MAC address in order to connect.

Thank you for the clarification. I haven't been able to login to the game (post character selection) after creating the characters. Could you provide the steps I need to follow to fix the faulty MAC address? Any detailed guidance would be appreciated.

I thought mac addresses are hard-coded into my Mac Air network card, how is a vpn software like NordVPN able to affect the hard-coded mac addresses? I tried searching on google but wasn't able to find any related information regarding VPN messing the mac addresses.

VPN sometimes come with spoofed MAC address to protect their users privacy

As this is a non-Royals related issue, we are unable to assist you with it

You would have to contact NordVPN about the invalid MAC address
