Hi there! We are sorry for the delayed reaction. In the end of May you said a slur to another player which got reported to us back then and should have been dealt with at that time, however, around the same time we had quite a few Reports slip through the cracks due to a huge volume of reports being made within a short timespan and it accidentally got buried under new Reports being made. And then later on due to unforeseen circumstances, (dealing with the aftermath of Dong’s GM abuse, Kenny’s GM abuse, and currently dealing with an ongoing Ddos’er for around a month, just to name a couple...) things ended up getting forgotten about and neglected a little, and the leftover feelings the rest of us had after hearing about the GM abuse taking place with people we had known for years. It's no excuse to allow things to go unanswered for that long, but in the same vein we have been dealing with a lot of things out of our control this year alone and subsequently falling behind due to that, and then having to re-prioritize the never ending task list(s) Staff has to do. We have been working hard at rectifying that, and catching everything up as best as we can with the limited time we have for Staff duties. We truly do apologize for the confusion and frustration this may have caused. Your ban is a temporary 3 day one, and you have 2 days remaining.
I see. I understand that (although I never recall saying a slur to a player but I won't argue with that, if it's been reported then it's been reported) But can I ask it to be delayed then? I don't think it's fair that I will miss the rest of a time limited gacha event because of the unforeseen circumstances that the staff has been through.. In no way am I saying that the circumstances aren't as bad as they sound, but the timing is a bit unfortunate and unfair in my opinion.. I don't mind a longer ban if needed, but I do ask if it's possible to delay the punishment by a few days.
I completely understand where you’re coming from. I’d give more context to the scenario but I don’t want to accidentally reveal who it was that documented the incident, so I do apologize for being a bit vague about it. Thank you for understanding. I’ve brought it up to the rest of the team to discuss this case as it is unusual, and I don’t think we’ve had a similar circumstance happen before where the incident happened a few months prior to the ban in terms of objectional behavior/profane language, so I wanted to weigh in their opinions on the situation. Unfortunately, as a team, while we do sympathize with the timing of the ban falling around the end of Chair Gachapon and given the incident happened towards the end of May, we do have to uphold reports submitted by others that gathered evidence if it meets the requirements documenting their case, and we have decided that we are unable to reinstate it at a later date at your request. I truly am sorry for the situation overall, and the inconvenience this brings to you with the timing with the event going on. I promise it wasn’t intentional with the unfortunate timing, we do our best to answer reports from oldest to newest but sometimes some reports can slip through the cracks and get swept up in the flood of ongoing submissions due to numerous reasons, and/or outside factors we are unable to control. Unfortunately, this case was one of them.
