IGN: mochiboo, cutedemon, many more Problem: Frequent DC Details: Initially, I logged into mochiboo or cutedemon, i am constantly getting dc-ed after entering cash shop, I am currently play the latest version (27.08.24). After searching the forum, i found someone facing similar issues https://royals.ms/forum/threads/dc-no-error-codes.230598/#post-1410277. So then i recalled that i did bought a seasonal (i think is the 11th anni merchant) merchant that i did not managed? I used mochiboo to go into FM and click on the guy that manages the merchants (forgot his name, directly above the fm portal dude?), my client instant dc too. Afterwards, any character on other accounts i own instant dc too. Needs help!!
Which file format (IMG/WZ) are you using? Have you done a clean re-install as well? Un-install > restart PC > re-install
no use it just crashes now , before clicking the fm merchant dude i could still roam around places, now every account just crashes
Please download the WZ.zip version and test if you would still face the same issue If so, would it be still all accounts facing the issue, or just 1 account (removed)
using the zip file, i tried the following accounts: mochiboo/mykukubird/sosikmeh/knnse: all passed PIC, but dc-ed after 2sec loaded nilaobu: did not dc-ed immediately, spawned in random fm, came out to the main fm place, dc-ed cutedemon: did not dc-ed immediately, managed to play
Do you remember the last locations of the affected IGNs? (intend to request GM/Admin to confirm if your affected characters are in a bugged map or something) Please also test if you would disconnect/crash on a brand new level 1 character
yup just tried out creating new level 1 chars just to summarise mochiboo: was fine previously, started to dc when entering cash shop on 14/15 sept, char was at nlc, then decided went into fm, did not dc, but dc immediately after clicking the merchant dude on the top of portal in fm, since then it just keep dc after logging in, currently at fm sosikmeh/knnse: last map is 11th anni map, dc-ed immediately nilaobu: logged in today, spawn in a random fm (20-24?), came out then dc-ed cutedemon: only one that did not dc-ed, currently at florina beach creating level 1 chars: created one in knnse's account, instant dc-ed after click "ok" on the instructions given when u first created a new char create one in cutedemon's account, same, dc-ed at the same moment after click "ok" on npc's instruction (it was the wasd and arrow key instruction i think)
Will request Admins to check your last location(s) Affected IGNs: - mochiboo (should be in FM) - sosikmeh/knnse (anniversary event map) - nilaobu (should be in FM) As NX/RP items could also cause the crash/disconnect, do you recall any NX/RP that all of the above characters are equipping? (maybe the same NX hat or something)
In the same folder, does that affects? regarding nx items, my characters are all wearing some nx but never changed for awhile since i last played (in June/july). I do rmb I have a merchant that I did not managed (since June/July can’t confirm) tho…
Not supposed to mix up WZ and IMG files format, please do a proper reinstallation by deleting all of the old files and using only either WZ or IMG in a single folder Note: mixing up WZ and IMG will cause game files corruptions
Oh wait let me clarify, I downloaded wz and img in the same folder, but before I install either one I will do an uninstall first, but they will always be installed into C://MapleRoyals (default path)
Have you tried other locations such as Documents or Desktop? Have discussed your situation with Admins and we still think it's file corruption issue as you were able to login with my WZ + the issue is occurring for all accounts and not specific characters
Yup it still happens, however, after downloading the new patch, my character (mochiboo) did not dc-ed immediately like before, I was able to roam in FM and go outside, but the moment I go into cash shop, I dc-ed, ever since then, I began dc-ing as described previously
