I like Geto but I'm sorry I know Fox since I started playing this game and she's absolutely amazing and would never do something like this unprompted. He probably did indeed do what he was accused of and therefore kicked from the guild.

Imagine having to post anonymously in the community blacklist thread.

Someone break out the investigator hat and start comparing the way this person types and highlights words to other posts. We must identify this culprit!

All I see is a person with grounds to kick another person from a guild and alliance.

Is this thread now: "Community Crying When Things Don't Go Your Way" ~f2

I think its fair to kick whoever you want from your guild but going on a campaign to publicly shame someone and convince others to kick somoene from other guilds (especially since feisty is a influential figure) without proper tribunal seems pretty close to harrassment

We removed a post from a new forum account that wishes to remain 'anonymous'.
As per our rules you're not allowed to have multiple forum accounts so the account has been removed and with that their post as well.
If they want to make a post on the forum they can do that on their main account.

We have mentioned this before here as well:

Endorsing someone as an infamous person yourself would only discredit him/her.

Can we please address the elephant in the room? Regardless of if the post was 'anonymous' or not is this not harassment? This feels oddly familiar to the time my guildie called out somebody for withholding splits and in turn HE got banned. The dude STILL withheld splits though? but he's good though because the other guy was ban evading? Forgive me if my comprehension skills are off but you can you really excuse this as "Interns and admins are still learning everyday."? This is clearly TOXIC behavior that somebody with AUTHORITY should NOT be conducting. Demanding somebody be expelled from somebody else's guild is a bit farfetched? I come and go, I'm not here for a long time I'm here for a good time but these past few months I've seen an abundance of gm abuse.

BTW when we, regular players, accuse somebody of something we need a power point presentation with timestamps to prove a point.... You don't need one?

No it's not. If both guilds are in the same alliance and one of the members in one of the guilds did something unaccaptable towards someone in the second guild it is totally fine to demand that. I did it too.

    harass
    verb
    ha·rass hə-ˈras ˈher-əs
    ˈha-rəs

    harassed; harassing; harasses
    Synonyms of harass
    transitive verb

    1a
    : exhaust, fatigue
I have been harassed with the toil of verse—William Wordsworth

    b(1)
    : to annoy persistently
    was harassing his younger brother

    (2)
: to create an unpleasant or hostile situation for especially by uninvited and unwelcome verbal or physical conduct
was being harassed by her classmates
claims that the police were unfairly harassing him

    2
: to worry and impede by repeated raids
    harassed the enemy

According to Meriam's dictionary I think you may have the wrong idea of what harass means.

I saw a couple of messages in a private guild chat and private alliance chat demanding to have a member removed. I fail to see how this is impacting the community as a whole. Ironically, the person who was removed would be more accurately fitting the definition above based on the conversation I saw.

I think crux of it, is that feisty is obviously an influential figure that can convince people to kick from guilds without proper evidence and tribunal (as shown by your takes here, favouring one side despite not hearing arguments from both sides). If you want to set that precedent thats fine, but i would would assume some people are not okay with gm interns being unchallengeable. Feisty might be 100% in the right here but geto should have the chance to defend himself before being kicked from his guild

note: ive never had a real conversation with geto and come from a guild where geto either left or was removed so no bias here

Regardless of any of this the community blacklist thread should not be utilized for an issue that does not involve the community. This is an issue between two members of a guild and alliance. Any dissention between the parties involved should be taken up directly with those involved. Posting out of context screenshots anonymously about an issue that is not publicly known, again this happened in a guild and alliance, is just an incorrect use of this thread.
Correct me if I am wrong here.

It seems to me there may be dissatisfaction about a specific member of the community and people seem to have strong opinions about this, but if you want the community to value your input perhaps the right thread with a valid argument supported by evidence would be advisable.

This issue more community involved than people stealing appos, picking up dropped items, withholding splits, scamming leech wdym? 90% of the posts here are between 1-3 individuals (note im not saying that these posts are invalid, just that theyre all valid. If someone is accusing of harrassment (whether justly or injustly), that seems to be a valid post to me)

If you read my post carefully, im not accusing feisty of doing anything wrong so i dont need evidence, im just saying i think its fair to allow someone to defend themselves before requesting a kick from their guild

I disagree. A member of the community willing to withhold splits or take items from others is evidence of a person willing to unfairly treat others and it could be argued that that person may be willing to do the same again. In many of those posts the argument to blacklist is supported by actual evidence and people willing to validate that evidence.

The post in question didn't seem to amount to anything other than finger pointing. I saw no conclusive evidence of harassment (in either direction). People seem to be making a habit of speaking on conjectures here instead of providing evidence to their claims.

It's fine to think someone should be able to defend themselves after being kicked, but why would that make it valid to post it here? An isolated event, between guild members, with no real evidence about how this could negatively impact the community does nothing to support either argument being made in your post.

Posting as a player, not representing staff:

There is more to the story that was left out (conversations via discord about certain people). It is not my place to share them, but I would have been salty towards someone as well.

This part is coming from my staff side:
    In response to Fumikage's comment:
It is only up to our Admins (Tim/Matt) to determine if staff abuse (any staff category) happens, so I can't talk to that. I can tell you that if you see staff abuse happening, you can report it directly to Tim or Matt via DM on the forums or via the Report Abuse section to be reviewed by them (either is fine). Staff are not above the law and we follow the same Terms and Conditions that all players agree to when they sign up for forum and in-game accounts. Additionally, we have our own staff rules/guidelines that we have to follow that are enforced by Tim/Matt. The situation with your guildie that was posted in the blacklist was unfortunate for them as they were breaking our Terms and Conditions. We discovered this and took action based on our Terms and Conditions. Any other members that were involved that were being discussed on the Community Blacklist had not committed any violations per our Terms and Conditions. Additionally, if you feel that someone has broken our Terms and Conditions, you can always report them via Report Abuse. Finally, when players are reporting someone via Report Abuse, we require that they submit unedited evidence (either screenshots or a recording) with either the server clock or the ~servertime command used to ensure that someone isn't weaponizing old evidence or editing their evidence to appear new (yes, this has happened on numerous occasions which is why we require what we require). When staff ban someone, we gather the same evidence and log it for all staff to see for accountability. There are additional measures that we follow to ensure that we had proper evidence for the ban that took place. I would encourage you to not throw out claims without first inquiring about the current process first.

    Carry on.

I go play a different game for a while and come back to an argument I can't follow cause the original report was apparently deleted for being anonymous :donke:
If this is a case of simple finger pointing back and forth, then staph it. If there are clear evidence of wrong doing the community should be aware of, can the reporter post it again, but on their actual account?
I missed the original report so I have no idea ^_^'

Yeah and its fine if we fundamentally disagree because you dont think anyone was being treated unfairly in those screenshots. From my perspective, there is an influential and staff player who has more sway and so asking for someone to be removed from another guild without tribunal is within their right but also unfair and could happen to others who happen to disagree with Feisty (the community aspect). I agree theres context missing so no judgements can be made, but it is undeniable that foxy (rightly or wrongly) asked to remove geto from the other guild.

Again, to be clear, foxy could be 100% justified and maybe there was already an internal tribunal but no one has mentioned it so im assuming it didnt happen. At the end of the day, seems like we disagree fundamentally on what is unfair/affects the community so ill settle for an agree to disgree

Well, yeah, the staff is not above the law/rules. But looking at this report you can pretty much see that some people listens to GMs/Intern and do what they say, without barely questioning it. Even if that's not written abuse (afaik) in any way, it's indeed problematic. I do understand that there might be more background to this story so I'm not going to comment on more on that. Just wanted to highlight that.
