Wow, rip those who invested a lot into selling Goby leech. I suppose it still works for lvl 51+? I wonder what exactly this change was intended to accomplish. Make things harder for those who are HP washing by forcing them to buy super slow Bishop leech instead? Yikes.
The change basically just confirms magestory even more... Washing players still aren't going to actively pq, they're just going to get low level leech instead. Still doesn't solve pqs being empty and now leech buyers and leech sellers suffer
Why did staff try to fix something that wasn't broken. Now washed players will just buy leech at low lvl mobs like they did before goby leech became popular. Casual players didn't buy goby leech anyway cuz it's so expensive and rich players DGAF. Make jr.wraith and wraith leech great again. Just another braindead decicion that changes nothing....
Because they are afraid of the another semi official Servers and wanna implement lower level possibility that the PQs arent empty anymore. Because only socializing at lower level will make people stay on this server I think they have calculated that CPQ1 is really really bearable and CPQ2 isnt... But im not one of the Staff but i have the feeling im kinda right
I get the idea but even if you wanted to spend the time to pq to level most people couldn't because they're too weak while washing and can't even get mw in pqs. It's not an option even if they wanted to. Why not hp quest instead? Hp quest is nice but once you're at a point where you can afford aprs it's really not reasonable to expect people to go that route anymore for their subsequent chars. Yes maybe there's going to be more cpq activity if people are willing to forego mw for the exp but then you're just going to get lobbies full of advanced players and leeching mules. Yeah there's more activity but it's not going to be any more enjoyable. At the end of the day the population is always going to be skewed towards mid-end game players and so unless actively pqing is viable for these players when making new chars, they're going to stay empty. Making pqing viable for all new chars and not just your first char would take a rework of the hp system and washing as a whole.
another bad move from royals , nerfing goby leech for nothing , now people gonna buy low lv leech from botters XD , when goby sellers are 100% humans
Please revert this change. It does nothing to solve the real issues of the server and only inconviences HP washers and those who have invested heavily into funding their Goby leechers.
And now all the yeti pepe maps are congested with mage farmers because that's pretty much one of the last ways standing of making consistent meso. No more goby leech, no rg meso. You either sell bishop leech or farm pepe now.
The same accs that sold gobies can sell cpq1 leech Its great xp and at 51 you can already get goby xp. It will resurrect cpq1 cause now ppl will want to leech there imo
some people including me are believing the main intention by eradication of last hit leech & part of goby leech is to re-open the market of various low level leechs which will improve the circulation of meso between old & new players instead of between only old players who have spare energy & meso to maintain many goby hitters & paladins
it will not be the same , as goby leecher you can do it by urself , on cpq1 need a partner logged at same time as you as seller
