Tbh an event where half the server is going to lose is not a good idea. It forces the rewards to be pointless as well, since again, half the server loses, so you retrofit the rewards to be pretty much pointless like dumpling rewards. Its also pointless bc its just a farm contest, thats not engaging at all, just sweaty, and also ppl who leech or mass farm honestly should not be able to benefit or contribute from events, especially events like this, ultimates should not proc event items, it's unhealthy for a lot of reasons i wont get into but you can guess. It was only fun bc all the goofy ppl joining dragon clan and talking it up but then not contributing at all lol, and tigers quietly took over, but that's irrelevant (gg tigers) Way too many maps/portals in the CNE maps. And going all the way to the end of three maps just to check your turn in count was pointless, have it available on the board. Making the clan leader tell you felt shoehorned Also need to make definite character choices click-only, not Y/N keys. Accidentally joined dragon clan on accident just typing in the fm, on an alt thankfully, which shouldn't have been possible, super annoying. I personally hate the art style of the faction event, that maple era art in general is just so ugly and bizarre looking, and it's not interesting or original in anyway, it's just animals dressed as things, a weird melange of existing folklore, myths, and real world cultures that just feels so off, frankly embarrassing to look at and play lol. (Victoria/nath era aesthetic is the best and in general got much much worse quickly sadly) Didn't do the lion boss bc I hate the huge map with speed restrictions, no idea why this is a thing for stuff like this, becomes a waste of time for weak rewards, which becomes ignored content, sorry Also for the future I think a game option should let folks turn off event drops. it should be an opt in/out thing Please remove the snowy Santa maps. Xmas is one day in a season of many other holidays, two months ago, it's almost March, take the holiday lights off the house already lol sheesh. The Santa animation is criminally bad, the reindeer don't actually have back legs bc it was too much work I guess or too busy looking, but I mean, at least give it to the one in the back, where it's super obvious, looks so bad lmao and the super blurry non existent mountains... we don't have to use bad art just bc it exists lol. And pls remove that one elf, you know which one, and if you ask why, you're a troll. Nobody has nostalgia for stuff like that
Please, whoever is giving you the new ideas about the event is an individual who lacks creativity and identification with the players on the server, who are mostly farmers and boss hunters. Please, for this royals 12th anniversary event, which is the most important, I suggest that whoever gave you the idea for this past event, close it and find another one who is more of a player than a spectator.
