Closed Ban appeal

Last thing you did: Its a long story... It happend a year ago. I created my own account and character. I met a guy, but I don't remember his IGN. He gave me very good stuff (illbis and such) for free. I thank him, and add him as a friend. after about a week, he sent me a message through the game itself, and he wanted to share accounts, so I can train in his account and he could in mine, I agreed. I gave him my password, and guess what, he didnt change the pass or scam me. We were good friends, sharing accounts, lauging and joking with each other, and training. One day, mapleroyals crashed. I tried to reconnect to my account but it said that there's someone already logged or something like that. I went to this site and fixed the problem through my account pannel. Then, I tried to reconnect again, but it showed me the same problem. I suspected my friend, so I opened a new account and right ahead contacted with the GM's about my friend and such. Told them he "hacked" my account (although he wasn't guilty) and such. Before trying to solve the problem, they accused me for account shairng... and banned my main account. Left me ashamed and confused. I tried to appeal the ban through the section in this forum, but they didn't believe me and listened to the problem itself. My buddy didn't hack my account, we were best buds.
Why do you think you got banned?: misunderstanding. I tried to explain them another problem, and they only listened to the part where I said we were sharing passwords.
Ban message when attempting to log in:I think my account doesnt exist anymore. It happend a year ago and when I tried to log in back in the day the message showed me that I was perm banned

You were banned for account sharing, which at the time was a permanent ban. I don't know what you would like us to do since you confessed to account sharing.

 

It wasnt a confesse. I tried to explain to the GM's the reason for my problem, which was account sharing. Now you're saying that today it is not a permanent ban, so it would be cool if you guys unban me, so I can play again.

 

You would have never had a problem if you hadn't account shared, that's the point.

 

The point is that I didn't mean to confesse account sharing. I needed to tell them information, so I told them! they didn't listen to the problem itself, they stopped me and asked me question only about the part when I tell them that I shared the account! they didnt listen to the problem itself. Also if sharing accounts isn't a perm ban today so why would you not unban me? it happend a year ago when it was perm banned

 

Again, nothing else needed to be heard as you account shared, which is a permanent ban. A permanent ban worthy offense is going to trump anything else that happened. And just because it's different today doesn't mean it applies retroactively.

 

I just wanted to add that what you did would still be considered a permanent ban today. You guys were leveling each other's accounts, that constitutes serious account sharing.

 

So can you clear my MAC address atleast so I can open another account and open another character?

 

No, you were permanently banned for account sharing.
