Hello everyone, i would like to talk about the state of the PQ meta of lv51-70 and suggest some idea for improvements. so where do people train (or are they? goby... goby...) PQ: 1. OPQ : Orbis pq, nostalgic and skillful, yet hard to find a party (even harder to find a good party) ,exp is decent probably the best in the list. 2. CPQ2 : ahh yes Cpq2, the complete disaster, when u come from Cpq1 at lv50 killing well over 1000 cp and getting great exp, and then entering this pq, finishing those shocking 10minutes and measuring your exp bar with a roller, you would leave this awaful place never to return!. yea... its that bad! WHAT HAPPEND?! well, few years ago it was broken, OP and made it easier to lvl 51-70 then 30-50. 3. LMPQ : many many years ago the veteran players might remember this lovely PQ, located at the center of ludi, i believe is one of the better PQs design in the game and very fun and great for community. PROBLEM: very bad exp unfortunately. Grinding: there is not a really good grinding places for unfunded players, for funded players WR is probably the best way to lvl55-70 (can make easy 50% \ 10min), unfortunately most new / unfunded players wont have a great time grinding those (relative early) lvls of the game. Leech: after the death of CPQ2 more players turn to leeching at ( goby ) . MY SUGGESTIONS : 1. CPQ2 *small* buff : yes, CPQ2 was nerf for a reason and a good one, problem is, it was not really a nerf, it was a well targeted john wick style Assassination . viking went from 9k exp to about 2k exp, i would say buff it to around 4.5k exp 2. LMPQ : MAKE LMPQ GREAT AGAIN , buff the exp to match with the experience of a (good party) Orbis pq run. 3. grinding: a good popular map back in the day was GS2, it was nerf and i would suggest to give it a good buff with the spawn (is terrible currently). also perhpas add some bonus party exp for Ghost ship area 4. Ghost Ship PQ - I don't know if anyone remember this PQ, was around 2009 i believe, was really fun PQ and could be great addition to the game. Thanks
I exclusively did LMPQ back on my hermit in the old days! Coming to Royals, I was able to find frequent enough CPQ2 parties on my bishop, which was fun. I don't love win trading though and missed teams having real competitions there. All my other characters after got leeched (boring! #saveouroceans) Because there's likely few first-character players in this level range on at a given time, I'd support adjusting tokens of teamwork prizes to incentivize more higher level players to come back to these pqs and help + along with base exp buffs for the PQs.
I do think that pqs should be good. And I would be honest and say I only briefly went over the thread but the reality is that the majority of the players on the server are making their 2nd (or 8th or 40th) char, and they usually just leech, even if pqs would be faster, leeching is easier
The xp from cpq 2 come from monsters, it get really good once you can kill harder monster faster. I think the only way to make ppl really use pqs again whould be some kind of lob you could acess and recrut people and go from any place of the world. Gms had a party npc..
You got the lounge, just people don't go there. And you got smegas. I don't think this would solve anything
But you still have to travel and spend money just to check if there is people. Not solve but whould incentive
I don't really get how that has anything to do with what I said. The lounge is accessible from any map and smegas are server wide.
PPQ Usually has some people in it's lounge cause the XP is good. OPQ was flourishing during the Double PQ exp event. I think it's still a good option that needs fine tuning. (I've argued keep the double PQ exp, or buff the glove before) Everyone making their 8th mule is just going to Goby Leech. CPQ2 has always been dead since I've started playing. I think it'd need major help to get people playing it. Grinding is grinding, I think that's the game in general and probably very unlikely to be adjusted. I've run multiple characters through OPQ for the glove/tokens of teamwork, you can find parties, but you def need Smegas and patience, that also slows down the XP. LMPQ is small enough that yes it's hard to find a party, but I've run it with 3 mules. I think if it's too good, you see people run it with alts (KPQ is kinda like this). I definitely can agree it needs some buff/incentive cause OPQ has the glove and LPQ has the glasses, but raw XP might be difficult. I'm always down for more PQ's, Maybe those capes could have a little W.Attack/M.Attack to help budget players? Balancers have to be careful, and sometimes the game is designed to slow you down on purpose.
I really don't know why they nerfed LMPQ buy scattering the tickets instead of follow what GMS had. Not a single person run LMPQ with this current design, I member the old day stay up all night rush LMPQ to 70, those were the days...
