Clues to hard for me, however I enjoyed the event. Thanks for hosting & gl to the last players that completed the scavenger hunt!
After over 3.5 hours excluding D/C and server lag, we finally finished! The following victors emerged: 1st place: Oslo (@Forsberg)! 2nd place: Kekturi (@Kekturi)! 3rd place: NurseJoy (@workteam)! Might also point out that Kekturi could've taken 1st place, but willingly gave it to Oslo. Please do leave feedback about the event, and I hope you liked it! I'd love to get some feedback about it in case I host another event. I'll post my own evaluation later... rip sleep
Queen Shot. I really enjoyed the event. Some parts were difficult and others were quite easy, giving perfect balance. I gave the 1.25b to Sunny because quite honestly she deserved it more than I did. I hope to attend again in the future! c: Thank you, Marty and Co-Hosts!
Fuck it, I'll post my evaluation now. All in all, I personally thought it went quite well, although it did take quite long. To break it down... Stage 1, Trivia: It really got off at a bad start. D/C and lag made it very hard to get started properly and I lost control of some people there because of it. I couldn't control them 100% either way, but that's what player-hosted events are like. Once we got going, however, it went quite well. I think most people could work with the questions, they weren't very hard, but they weren't typing contests, either (like @Christopher Chance's! ). It's just too bad some people had to ruin it by pushing the boundaries (@Hampa and others). Stage 2, Scavenger Hunt: I think this was pretty smooth. There weren't many problems along the way and seeing as the 7 winners were close to each other, I think it was a close race! Although I did see many people thinking the clues were too tricky... I'll remember that for future reference. What most probably didn't notice either is that we made a mistake; one of the co-hosts gave out the wrong list of items to gather, but I think we handled that well with improvisation. Stage 3, Outsmart your Opponents: To be quite fair, this could've been a whole event for itself. It took over 2 hours alone... But I think those that were there enjoyed it! It turned out pretty well (just long) and there were a few plot twists (and not just because I was wrong once!), especially at the end, where @Kekturi could've swooped in to move from 3rd to 1st on the last question but gave it away to Oslo instead. There are two things that could've been improved IMO: It took way too long. The Hide & Seek and Find the NPC took ages, especially the challenge one. Could've shortened it a bit. I'm guessing that if I host another one of these again, it'll be faster, though. The Challenge rounds were quite tricky for me. I had to find fitting pairs with the bets I had, which wasn't always possible to be 100% fair. This is just how the concept works, but I still think it should be something to consider for future reference. I hope everyone else who was there enjoyed it (and didn't get frustrated with the clues on stage 2), and leave feedback if you want to so I (and other event hosts @Christopher Chance pls) can improve my skills.
