I can understand the recent change to make Papulatus wanting to finish things quickly after filling his Crack, so they can get onto the next person. Given some AFK/Toxic behavior a recent change added a 30 minute timer, but I feel this may have adjusted too tightly in the opposite direction. Pap is only popular right now because of the Anniversary event and most of the time this is not an issue. The issue is Pap is also a cornerstone for non-daily use-cases as well. Bishops have no way to solo Pap with this change (And was the only way my 121 Bucc got TL). My Ironman needed over an hour as well, and now I'm worried about how I'm getting Brandish 30. There are many legit reasons why players need more than 30 minutes that I'm sure are also unmentioned. I would suggest one or more of the following 1. Keep the timer only for major farming events like Anniversary. 2. Adjust the timer to an amount that prevents AFK'ing, but allows content completion by edge cases (2 hours perhaps) 3. Create/Adjust an NPC, that you can add time to the timer. Perhaps reduce the timer to 15 minutes, but be able to be extended. 4. Adjust the summon/completion timer (Before/after fight) to allow for tighter ingress/egress. Player are less likely to AFK if boss is actively summoned. 5. Make more Pap Fights available to meet demand. I can appreciate the adjustment to most use cases, but I do encourage the consideration of edge cases as well, and am curious for any discussion on what edge cases might be missed or other suggestions that could be considered. Thank you!
I'd recommend the option of giving it a longer timer and resetting it to like 5 minutes or so after killing.
Should it not be possible to have a timer right as you enter the map, but it disappears when Pap has spawned in? (Not when you drop the crack, but when you hit the thing in the middle so he shows up), or is that not possible? If the problem is people holding the maps and afking. That way you can't afk too long. Unless you summon pap, but at that point you're gonna lose potions and eventually die if you afk
