I’ll do my best to clarify everything as transparently as possible.

Maybe I’m new to Royals, but I’m certainly not new to MapleStory. I’m 31 years old and have played across many private servers for years, and of course on the best GMS server before Big Bang changed everything.
Maple’s been a regular part of my life, with breaks like anyone else, but I’ve always come back to it. I can even log into some of my older accounts on other servers if that helps confirm how long I’ve been part of this community and game overall.

Before starting on Royals, I spent time reading through forum guides and planning how I wanted to progress. I started with a Bishop to support my main, a Buccaneer, and from day one I focused on grinding properly. A few months ago I was unfortunately let go from my job, which left me with a lot of spare time. I ended up playing 12 to 13 hours a day on average, which I know isn’t great in terms of real life balance haha, but I mention it to explain how much time and effort I actually put into the game.

The majority of that time was spent leeching either my own alt or other players. I mostly sold leech at ulu1, ulu2, FTP, and lower-level maps, trying to fund my Buccaneer. My Bishop still isn’t even that strong. I can barely one-hit Skeles, which I think shows that my progress has been honest and gradual, not something boosted unrealistically.

To answer your questions:

1. I’ve been playing Royals for around a month. While this server is new to me, I’ve played MapleStory for years and I’m very familiar with how the game and its economy work.

2. I don’t know the exact number, but during the time I was playing and grinding, I managed to get a few CS and WS. Some were from gachapon (maybe 2 or 3 CS/WS in total), and the rest were bought through Free Market trades as I worked on building my gear. One player I leeched for several days in a row, a few hours each day, ended up paying me later in one trade with WS, pretty sure it was 4 or 5 scrolls. I didn’t think much of it at the time since it felt like a fair exchange for the service I gave.

3. I didn’t receive the scrolls from any one person as a gift. Any that didn’t come from gachapon were acquired through standard in-game trades in the FM, or in that one case, through delayed leech payment. I genuinely don’t remember the IGN because I leech multiple people, and sometimes they log in on alts or come through quick party invites. But if that’s something I should track more carefully, I’ll make sure to do so going forward.

4. I’m not exactly sure what this question refers to, since I didn’t accept any CS or WS from a player without giving something in return. Everything was either a gachapon pull (maybe 2–3 CS/WS in total) or a regular trade involving meso or items in the Free Market.

Just to pour more light to brighten things, I’ve never been involved in RWT, not in Royals or any other server I’ve played on. That’s never appealed to me. I enjoy the game for the satisfaction of building things up through my own work. Taking shortcuts ruins that, and I’ve never found it fun or rewarding. I also always voted once per day, never abused the system, and I believe that can be checked on your end as well to support my honesty.

If any of my activity triggered a red flag, I’m more than willing to clarify. I enjoy the server, I’ve put a lot into my account through proper effort, and I really hope to continue being a part of the game.

I understand how this situation might raise concerns. Receiving valuable scrolls from a level 49 character without any in-game interaction understandably looks suspicious from your side, and I appreciate the chance to clarify what actually happened.

The player who traded me the scrolls is someone I’ve known for quite a while from older private servers. We’ve stayed in casual contact through Discord over the years, we occasionally chat about different servers we’ve played on, and when I mentioned that I had just started on Royals, he offered to help me out. At the time, I saw it as a friendly gesture from someone I’ve shared past gaming experiences with.

In fact, before that trade, I had also leeched him for a few days, a few hours each day using my Bishop. We coordinated mostly through Discord rather than in-game chat, so there may not be visible in-game communication logs. I didn’t think much of the trade beyond that, whether it was seen as leech payment or a bit of help between old friends — but I now understand how it may appear unusual, especially without context.

Regarding the number of scrolls — I realize now that I may have underestimated the total in my initial response. The trade happened all at once and, to be honest, I didn’t stop to count or think much of it in the moment. That was a lapse in judgment on my part, not an attempt to be dishonest. I now understand the importance of transparency and how details like this matter from your side of things.

I want to be very clear: I’ve never been involved in real-world trading, not in Royals or on any other server. I’ve always played Maple for the satisfaction of grinding and earning progress myself. That’s always been my mindset and what I enjoy most about the game. I’ve put in a lot of genuine time into my account, leeching, grinding, building things up and I truly value what I’ve achieved.

If anything I’ve done is seen as a mistake or overstep, I’m more than willing to make it right, whether that means returning the scrolls or rolling things back, even though I truly feel I worked hard for what I’ve built in-game since starting. I say this with full respect for the rules and the work you all do to maintain fairness on the server.

I genuinely enjoy being a part of the Royals community and would love the opportunity to continue playing on fair terms and with a better understanding moving forward.

I’d really appreciate the chance to return to the server, especially with the weekend coming up. I truly believe I’ve done nothing wrong.

You can clearly see the amount of time and effort I’ve invested into my account, I don’t feel I deserve this punishment. I’m more than willing to provide any information or proof you require.

To be honest, I’m still unsure what I did wrong. If there’s anything you need from me to clarify the situation, I’ll gladly provide it. I just don’t understand why I had to be banned before having the opportunity to explain. This could have easily been addressed in-game, and if I were actually guilty, then sure, an immediate ban would make sense.

I’ve been playing Maple for years and have no reason or need to purchase mesos, even if that was allowed. I enjoy earning my progress and building things up the right way.

Please reconsider my appeal. And if not, that’s your decision I’ll simply move on elsewhere if that’s the outcome you prefer. But I still stand by my offer to prove my innocence and clarify anything you’d like. It’s also worth noting that you can see exactly which IGN (and probaly his other IGNs) traded me the WS/CS, so it feels like this decision was made without fully considering all the context.
