Passed Assassinate 30 in my 2nd attempt. It's a good day.

 

Ohms guild recently finished its 200th successful Von Leon run!


Some highlights:

Finally after like 2 years of hp questing I got to 30k without ever using any APRs.
(technically its 28627 and its only 30k with gear but its ok)

There's a bit of a backstory to this, sorry in advance for yapping:
A few months ago, we reduced our weekly 10 mans to 9 mans instead, because there was plenty of time left every run.
This made me wonder how far I can push the party size with apple only, because 9 mans cleared comfortably with just 7 attackers and without optimal jobs.
Turns out it can be pushed pretty far:

Meso bombing:
It's been a while since we used meso bomb in VL, over 2 years actually -> click me
We did that without much knowledge or testing, our gear was kind of low and it was clearly speeding up our opener.
To know which situations are worth bombing today, I first wanted to test the dps - and here is the result:

Meso bomb DPS is roughly 1.04m, if you want to understand how absurd that is, check the krex DPS thread for comparison -> link
As meso bomb hits 6 targets, it was clear that meso bomb should be used everytime it can be, and not only for openers/mob clear.

Double mobs tech/attacking side:
Patch 95.1/95.2 is no longer in the game, and apparently now on small parties like this, the skill priority fix does work.
This means we will always get mobs, jail and all the other stuff on time, leading to guaranteed double mobs + jail in b3.
I thought this in itself will lock this achievement away forever, because how are you supposed to clear that with just 3 attackers on apple?
But all it took was 2 simple solutions:

1. Just push away gargs from the mob stack:

2. Kill b2 on the left side of the map.
VL just walks too much in this patch, if you kill it on the right side as usual, you can't ever get it in the corner near jail for mob+jail scenarios.
If you kill it on the opposite side of the map and make it walk into that corner spot for golems instead, you can achieve that just like before.

Completed Olaf 7 on bucc to reach 28.5k clean HP, and level 43 on my bucc bpq mule. Time for oldschool FoG grind this weekend.

 

Before I quit 6 years ago the only CS I ever used on atk gear went: -5, +1, -4 Only 3 times in my 4 years of playing.

Saved up 150b to begin my CS era of vengeance a few days ago. Started off -3 on a 9/5 cape, but then hit these bangers back to back:

Xanark 2-0 VS BWG's . Vengeance complete
Instantly doubled my CS funds from 150b to 300b.

Fully expecting to blow up my next 100b though + =

 

I leveled up my pet from level 26 to 27 just using milk and commands.


I failed 5 times to be able to pass Frostprey at 30
