Closed Accidental quicksell of a white scroll

Hello,

I am a new player and as this is a long shot I was told by alliance to attempt to post about this to see if I can possibly get a recovery of an accident?

I basically did 70 gacha tickets at NLC a day or 2 ago and won 2 white scrolls. I sold one for 485m and bought some things making it 385m. I was planning on leeching my main as I was told that was the best route for a new player on server playing as priest to do to get through the 3rd job. Right before I was hopping off for the night I went to check my inventory and did not find the white scroll. After checking all my other characters 3 times each and looking at my inventory I did not see it. I can't say if either I accidentally quickly sold it through pot npc in perion or when my friend gave me 70%s to scroll a glove he gave me to use (although nothing popped up at that time). In the end, it most likely got accidentally sold to a shop before heading to balrog boss run. I tried ~buyback and because I logged off and on several times nothing was there.


As I kept saying to alliance this was a long shot.. Is there any chance for assistance with a stupid mistake on my part?

No, I equipped flame level 50 mage gloves and he dropped me 70%s and did it while equipped. I messaged him shortly after before going to bed after checking for the white scroll and didn't see it. I thought it could've been accidentally sold at pot shop in perion when cleaning out my use inventory. He asked if a box popped up for me before the first one got attempted but no box it just went through which is the only reason I mentioned the other possibility of it being used some other way in the post.

 

You can't NPC a white scroll.

 

I don't know how it got removed then. I quintuple checked now and see no white scroll. The only possible thing then is the scroll thing but I do not recall a box popping up so I'm really confused.

And like I said I logged out and on several times to check our characters cause I was transfering other stuff for the gacha space and did not find it.

What were you asking about the legendary spirit for btw?
I did use it a day prior when I was buying cheap 60% scrolls to scroll warrior gear through it on cheap warrior gear for my low level DK. I scrolled a top/bottom & shoes with topwear str 60%s, bottomwear dex 60%, and shoes for jump 60% all on warrior equips on my mage through legendaary skill.
Does it use white scrolls without being prompted by chance?

 

I just comfirned with guild. I must've used it scrolling with 60%s literally 300k-2m scrolls on cheap warrior equips I got and accidentally used a white scroll while scrolling. Had no idea it was an automatic thing. Never checked afterwards if I still had the white scroll until tonight. x.x

 

Lol. I haven't played this version of maple in over 15 years and the last time I ever used legendary spirit was probably in 08 (still had never used a white scroll with legendary spirit). I didn't even know that was a thing to begin with. I got it when I was really low level when going to go farm coolios and thought it'd be a nice way to scroll cheap things I can't equip yet.

Had no idea there was a ''tick'' thing for something like that. That's pretty wild to lose a 500m scroll on a 300k-2m 60% scroll. -_-

 

So for something like this because it was ''used'' I can't get a replacement? Might as well confirm. x.x

 

This mistake happened to the best of us, I still hold grudge on Frederick NPC from FM, who stole more than 5 WS from me and tons of int scrolls because shop was closed and I did not pick it up within 100 days due to short-term-quit. (Guess it was a bug instead as meso only is supposed to be taken)
So remember to take everything from that MF as soon as shop is closed.

 

MF takes item too? I thought it’s just mesos?!

 

Was it always the case? (e.g. there were no bugs with that NPC, or bugs when server went down for update and shop is closed automatically resulting in lost items?)
