jr boogie spawn on land of Boars?

So I am very new.
I was farming on the Land of Boars before server check up today.
After the server check up the jr boogies started to spawning. Is this normal?
This is really bothering me training here (

 

Attacking the statues on top of the map should be able to get rid of all the Jr. Boogies for a while.

thanks after all these years i didn't even know there was a totem and all that saved me a lot of headache
