Sometimes my game client will randomly just turn off to my main home screen on my CPU and when I try to go back into the client im just stuck with a black screen and the only way to resolve the issue is logging out of my PC and logging back in. I’m assuming this is a bug but if this is a common issue, is there any advice on how to resolve this?

Good afternoon, that could be happening because at some point you put too much strain on your RAM or even your graphics card. Could you send me just your basic PC specs so I can run some tests? I had that problem before and had to upgrade my PC because it wasn't just Maple that was going black. I recommend trying full screen. Do you use a lot of mages for farming or dual attack on certain maps? Or are you just AFK?

Oh, and I almost forgot, tell me if you use IMG or WZ files

16GB of RAM, Graphics card is NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti (4GB)

I think I’m using WZ files but not entirely sure, how can I check?

My CPU is a couple years old now so it could be that it’s outdated, but definitely let me know what your results show!

    Thank you!

Your PC is good for gaming. Try cleaning both your hardware and software. Also, try switching to IMG files and test with a 60Hz screen resolution to see if you still have the problem.

Note: If you don't know which version of MapleRoyals you have, go to the game folder, which is saved by default in C:/Program Files, and read the end of the files. Check if they say IMG or WZ, and most importantly, make sure the top of the client says "Sep 6".
