Getting excited, I hope they have Malaysia working. Its would be so nostalgic for me to see Scar and Tar hats again.

 

It's not that it's not working, it's just that most of the content in Malaysia is deemed overpowered.

 

Why? (as in: i havent played post bb MapleStory)

 

Gallos have incredible HP/XP ratio AND would be an absolute prime area to leech. They also drop Gloves for Atk 60% AND Bottom for Dex 60% (which has been considered a rare scroll in this server). Scarlion/Targa helmets would push people away from Zakum due to it's relative ease to get and better stats.

Yes. All kinds of bad. But who knows? I could be wrong and this is exactly what the servers needs. It's up to the Admins to make that final decision.

Honestly, I'd be more than happy if these were introduced. New content is always a win.

 

Just depends on what they do with the spawn. All it is going to do is get rid of 2 hit ulu leeches and all that will be left is Gallops / 1 hit ulu 2.

EDIT: Actually just noticed the drops. Power crystals, glove att 60%, bot dex 60%, adamantium ore. So much potential.

I think the drops combined with bishops would cause more problems/issues than just the exp and bishop

 

Very true , but I think maybe the admins could tweak some of the Malaysian content in order for it to be balanced when compared to what we have now.

 

Totally, they could make them give lower or similar exp as ulu2, remove some of the drops to keep market stable and as to targa/scarlion i wouldn't be mad if those hats gives 10 all stats instead of 18. That way Zakum is still a better helmet.

Its not that they picked a horrible source, its just that the logic working behind the scenes isn't meant to deal with 400+ players on at once. The staff back then never could have imagined the player base would get this huge. I remember back in the summer of 2013 before the wipe when there were ~100 players online or less and the server had no notable lag problems with this same source.
