I've read all people's doubts and different cases but i still would like to ask just to double check about my case. The usage of taskbar tweaker to allow me to switch between clients by just clicking on the icon in a 1:1 action, this meaning 1 click - 1 client switch + a keyboard software that allows me to rebind also in a 1:1 action my left click button to a key of my choosing, plus other different keys for movement like in this example of my own keyboard . Am i allowed to do it this way? I just want to clarify to avoid any kind of missunderstandings in the future
This is allowed if one key tap = 1 client switch, thanks for double checking with us! - The setup you have shown where you use one finger do hold down your mage attacks on two devices is allowed - You tapping on two keys at the same time with one finger to do client switches is also allowed within the current described rules. Do note that we're not trying to encourage players to add as many devices and special keyboards or other input devices as possible to hold / tap with the outmost limits of their entire hand or foot. Please stick to reasonable amounts like your example! - Using the software taskbar tweaker to make client switching a one-click action is allowed as it's the same as rebinding alt + esc or alt + tab to a single key. Do note that you may not hold down an attack or other action + the taskbar tweaker key for unlimited client switches and attacks. The other rules still apply where we will require you to click the taskbar tweaker key for every client switch
Let me tank some of that heat. I hope you find comfort in knowledge that there are more of us who think like you do. Like I can't even believe what I'm reading in this thread. Dudes pressing 2 buttons back and forth, casting 8 ultimates at a time and somehow isn't considered a robotic play. Absolute madness. Not to mention it would be definitely easier for admins to monitor the amount of multi clients rather than checking whether player is using foot pedals or entire freaking drum set to play the server. Which normal person looking for a nostalgic experience will be like "yeah let me try this server out" after seeing this?
Why not? One of the defining features of MapleRoyals is that it allows multiple clients. I actually got into the game after watching videos of people playing with multiple classes at once. Compared to bossing, farming is just more appealing to me. Every playstyle has its own audience. As long as I’m not breaking any rules, why should it matter how I choose to play?
