Welcome to Royals Nala. Most will recommend to: 1. Make a Bishop first. 2. If you want to go warrior/bucc, no washing is needed so you could go for that for your second character, in another account (so you can multi client, and have your Bishop HS you) 3. If you are going ranged, you need to lvl a bit more your bishop to sell leech and fund your character, as ranged needs HP washing. --- Having said this, I did not care at all about others recommendation and I only single client with my Paladin, my only character. And im enjoying it. So you can choose whatever you want to enjoy, just keep in mind that ranged classes struggle with HP, so funding is necesary depending on what content you would like to do.

Hi Nala! I think the key advice I would give people new to MapleRoyals is that this game will take some time. This game is much more slow paced than games from the last few years. In 2006-2010 Maplestory, there's a very low exp rate and very little information directly given by the game as to how to progress. Royals mitigates this somewhat, but if you don't know where to go for good quests or PQ, you'll hit a slow progress part. You'd have to do your own research on where to find quests that are worth your time, and what to do. If not, you can explore on your own and ask others along the way. There are plenty of guides on this forum too. Either way, it'll definitely take some time. But that's part of the charm of this game from back then; the process of the grind, the socializing and asking around, the unguided exploration. Now, most people here deem the "bishop -> funds -> hp washing" route as most efficient to reach endgame bossing content, which is the endpoint of content Royals has to offer.
