Hello to all forum members and MapleRoyals staff. As the title says, I've seen a lot of English from the United States and also from the United Kingdom. Since I'm from South America, I've noticed that the translator translates it differently, sometimes even confusingly. Here in South America, we speak Latin American Spanish, but each country has its own dialect. Is this just a habit of us Latin? I know that English is the main language for communicating with everyone. But the problem persists when a member from the United States speaks different English, and when a player from the United Kingdom speaks a very different kind of English than those spoken in the United States. What are the differences? And sorry if I'm using the translator. I know some English because I was studying it, but when COVID came, I couldn't complete my basic English. But at least I have an idea of what people are saying to me. Thanks
Each region has its own style of English. The differences are not limited to just the United States and the United Kingdom, countries like Canada and Australia have their own variations as well. For example, I am from Singapore. Although British English is the standard here, in reality, many of us use a mix of different forms of English rather than strictly following one. Examples
I apologize for the delay in my response. @Dave Deviluke The bad thing about the translator is that it doesn't translate images with English text. PD: It seems your image link is broken
