Shiratsuyu, Hi! Reading all of this sutiation, this should be a ban, permanent. Just to let you know, you are a great person making this Blacklist to see what's going on . I wanna ask staff to monitor this accident and handle this.
Hi, late to the party. For those who missed the entire thing and only have hearsay, here's some full unedited screenshots of the smegas that started this whole drama with AuraFlash. In the smegas, you can see AuraFlash's responses & admissions to the allegations made against him. Of course at this point it doesn't really matter anymore since he has been permanently banned from the game, forum as well as discord. But in the event he does make an appeal and is somehow back in the community, I would like to leave this here for people to judge for themselves. Also to provide tea and context for those that do not know what is going on. Enjoy.
I can confirm that he's permanently banned from the game for at least the foreseeable future (for him to return, he'd need to appeal after staying away from here for several months, and we would have to be confident that he was willing and able to behave appropriately going forward). Thanks everybody who submitted evidence of what was going on.
Thx Heidi -Does not want to share splits with paladin because he did not get nx and paladin did. Also he used 20 smegas to organize the run -Spends another 20 smegas to explain why he didn't share splits with the paladin
I also dislike this guy, once smegad against at him, but I also don't like to create a world that all(most) ppl can decide life/death, perm ban is death in this game, I think temp ban is enough, perm ban should be exist for habitual offenders
Only admins and gamemasters can decide if somebody deserves a ban or not. Obviously the members of the community can share what they think, but we don't have the final say in that regard. The blacklist is a place where the community decides if a player is trustworthy or not basically.
Justice has prevailed! If you see a smega similar to the one below, you know who is ban evading: "R> Zak Quad, if you take NX you dont get split from buyer and will pay me the smegas I spend to recruit and find buyer"
Personally, I feel like a 30-day ban would have been the way to go. If he didn't change his ways after that, sure, a permanent ban is warranted. This feels rather harsh for a ban that is, according to the terms, a minor infraction. Didn't know the guy, and he does seem very toxic, but people can actually change their ways. Don't mean to criticise the decision that was made, or claim staff are wrong for making the decision, by the way.
Now it was not just about how he made up unfair rules at Zak without telling his party before the run, it is how he handled all this situation afterwards. Harrassing, spamming, and other incidents came out to light. He never explained, apologized or tried to make it right. As Heidi mentioned, he can still make his ban appeal, make an agreement or something so we can ensure he does not cause more problems to the community in the future, serve his sentence and the perma ban can be lifted.
Oh I know, it was severe harassment. No doubt about that at all! Just saying, I've experienced people on this very server who went from toxic to genuinely friendly, so I am a believer in second chances. That's why I'm a fan of 30-day bans. But that's just my opinion and it does not (nor should it) hold any weight.
This isn't really the appropriate venue to discuss a player's ban, as we're making assumptions about what the Staff intended and how the rules were applied based on limited information. This may not be the only incident of harassment that occurred, or there may be other severe rule infractions that occurred leading to the permanent ban. I always appreciate the transparency from Staff on community matters, but maybe certain information is best left undisclosed (such as the circumstances in which a ban appeal for a specific player would be accepted).
To clarify, he is not permanently banned on the forums. A permanent forum ban (120 WP) is generally applied to players who are permanently banned in-game after their Ban Appeal has been reviewed and resolved, and who are subsequently found to be causing disruption on the forums. In this case, no appeal has been submitted for the latest incident. Should he resume spamming or similar behavior once the forum restriction is lifted, WP will be issued accordingly.
No one in the server "killed" him Its more equivalent to him suiciding despite multiple people telling him "no, dont do it, its not worth it" To be clear i also think a 30 day ban is more appropriate, but were assuming his crime was posting cringe on main basically. He went out of his way (im talking about the LHC KSing and harrassing staff andpotentially other players out of the game) to be a pain. Like look at the pic shira sent earlier, he was posting on any current/former staff profile and those posts arent really in good taste. Also over discord. Like geto said, he should have just taken the L and move on. Also like Geto said, he was in a WAY bigger drama and now no one talks about it.
