You know, plenty, here's my 2 cents. Add your gear. People come in to these threads expecting these outcomes, and many won't even be that funded like you are. For example, you are 1hitting teddys at lvl 25 and training at WS at lvl 70 while getting decent exp. you'd expect people would be at GS2
Sounds like a lot of work... I'd like to think that the numbers that I'm providing are the absolute max you're able to get with near max funding and I'm providing that information just to show that you can do this. It's definitely not something people should expect.
tell people to state their funding via asterisk no asterisk = no funding * = 1-750m funding ** = 750m-2b funding *** = 2b++ funding put an asterisk next to their name in the guide. tada
I think adding a weapon attack range would be enough. It's as modest as you can be while helping others know where they'll fall in comparison to your rates.
I feel like maintaining this guide is a huge service to the community. While I agree, a lot of those numbers are not feasible for the average player, adding an additional layer of work is asking a lot. Maybe a preface on page 1 stating that his personal calculations are the absolute max experience one can achieve without leeching? Idk, maybe the asterisk thing can work, but I like to think people are realistic enough to know/calculate relevant experience.
I could imagine doing something like this. Warning: Plenty is an insane person. Don't expect the rates he's getting unless you're using tryhard gear. If I haven't already explained this before, the main reason why I'm playing lower level characters and tracking down XP is for potential upcoming guides and crack mules. Also, I like seeing numbers. Level(s): 70 Class: Ranger Location:Destroyed Dragon Nest Percent/Hour: 160%/Hour (3,300,000 XP) Level(s): 73 Class: Ranger Location:Destroyed Dragon Nest Percent/Hour: 150%/Hour (3,600,000 XP) Level(s): 75 Class: Ranger Location:Wolf Spider Cavern Percent/Hour: 275%/Hour (7,500,000 XP)
There's a big gap in your thief section between 7X and 9X there Plenty, since these levels are total balls for us, especially if we don't have the gear, so I'll chuck this in the mix. I don't really want to spend what little cash I do have all on leech, so I've been solo training at Windraiders/Stormbreakers. Looks like it's roughly 1/3 of the XP/hour of leeching at WS. Level(s): 78 Class: Hermit Location: Crimsonwood Mountain - Lower Ascent Percent/Hour: 100%/Hour (3,160,000 XP) Unbuffed attack range: 675 ~ 1195 Notable gear: 51 attack Skanda 13LUK Bathrobe (Yep, this is not a typo.) 8ATK Work Glove I am completely unfunded (definitely a 1-asterisk Wanted level... heh), and virtually all my money has come from selling cheap gach scrolls and selling things like Heartstoppers. It feels like the biggest limiter on XP here is purely map traversal - it's a bit of a shock to the system if you've come from grinding somewhere like Sophilia's Bedroom or GS.
Ratio might even be worse than 1:3. I can manage to leech you 16M+ XP at your level at Wolf Spiders. I personally haven't had the opportunity to train a Hermit at that level for a few reasons, but I'm hoping that I'll be able to create a mock NL to test it out. At your level, I think sniping Jr. Newties or Death Teddies is much better XP than Windraiders based on spawn.
i barely had any fundings and could hh grind for 2 hours a day just fine from 75 to 105. they're pretty easy levels to be honest.
@Plenty @Catlaunch Cool, thanks for the suggestions guys. Will try out Death Teddies, Newt sniping and HH.
If you're feeling adventurous, try Memory Monks at Temple of Time. Amazing drops and great XP/HP ratio. You're a Hermit so you should have no trouble hitting them.
