All Your Character Names: Niibs, Joshoowa

    Last thing you did: PPQ

Why do you think you got banned?: I honestly don't know. The ban message doesn't specify a reason, and I'd like to understand what actually caused it so I can make sure it doesn't happen again.

Ban message when attempting to log in: "Your account has been blocked for hacking or illegal use of third-party programs. You can login after Aug/1/2026"

What GM banned you (optional): Unknown

    Notes:
Would just like to know so I can avoid in the future and not get banned again.

After reading plenty of other appeals and poking around elsewhere, I’m guessing it was minor vote abuse.

My brother and myself live in separate homes but frequently play at each others houses. If we apply for whitelist and are approved would this lift the ban since we didn’t actually abuse the voting system?

The last thing I’d want is to be permabanned for this happening again.

    Hi,

Based on the situation you described, we would strongly recommend submitting a Voting Whitelist application. This helps prevent situations, such as family members who frequently play from each other's homes or networks, from being mistaken for Vote Abuse in the future.

You can find more information about the Voting Rules and the Voting Whitelist here:
    https://royals.ms/forum/threads/voting-rules.15580/

Please note that Voting Whitelist applications do take some time to be reviewed. Additionally, even if your application is approved, it does not shorten or remove your current 14-day ban, as the ban was issued based on the circumstances at the time of the violation.

We encourage you to submit the application if you believe it applies to your situation, as it will help avoid similar issues going forward.

Hi Dave, thanks. I’m guessing since you’re a mod you can’t confirm that’s what occurred?

That's correct. As a Forum Mod, I do not have access to the GMs control panel, so I am unable to confirm the exact reason for your ban.

That said, there was a recent ban wave involving Vote Abuse, so based on the information you've shared, I believe it is likely that your ban is for Minor Vote Abuse.

However, please wait for a GM to review your appeal and confirm the official reason for your ban.
