Hi, I just became a paladin the other day so I've been doing the quests to earn my skills. Everything was going smoothly until I tried to get my skill "Divine Charge". This skill is obtained by getting an item called a Holy Cup and filling it with Holy Water; this Holy Water is found at the end of the Horntail Party Quest. I've looked up quest instructions from both the MapleRoyals site (thanks to Plenty's Guides btw) along with a guide on BasilMarket (http://www.basilmarket.com/forum/581261/0/#17) and they both have the same instructions: with the Holy Cup in your inventory, double click on the Holy Water to fill your cup; the problem is that the Holy Water NPC did not work at all when I tried to double click it or use the NPC Chat button. My friend who came along also tried and received no NPC dialogue. It seems that the NPC you need to click on is currently busted. I've attached a screen shot showing me with the "Holy Cup" in my inventory (apologies for resolution, playing on an old PC). That hidden-street link is not something I would trust since it's way ahead of out version. This is what I have found Holy Charge (Sword) & Divine Charge (Blunt Weapon): 1. Talk to the 4th job instructor to begin 2. Talk to a scuba diver inside one of the ships at Sharks. He will ask you to hunt for 10 Shark’s Teeth. 3. Return with 10 Shark’s teeth to the Scuba diver, and he will give you the Holy Grail. 4. Bring the Holy Grail to Chief Totamo of Leafre. He will ask you to talk to Moira in the Horntail Cave. 5. Moira will give you another quest, which requires you to gather the following: * Ice Cube (Green Cornian) * Skull Mask (Dark Cornian) * Manon’s Cry * 10 Red Drake Skins (Red Drakes) * Broken Dagger (Dropped by Cornian, color unknown) 6. Talk to Mosu to have him fuse the old dagger with the items to create a new dagger. 7. Gather a party of 3 people and venture back to Moira to transform yourself into a Green Cornian in order to enter the cave below. The cave has five different stages, each of which contains a key. You need to acquire a key from each stage in order to progress to the next stage. The last stage should contain Skelosaurs. Your objective is to find a Holy Grail with Holy Water. 8. After finishing Moira’s quest, go to Orbis Tower, floor number 8 to receive the skillbooks for both Holy and Divine Charge. It seems you have the holy cup when you are supposed to kill the skelesaurs at the last stage to get the Holy grail which you should fill up. I never done this so I could be wrong, the different names is enough to think you have the wrong item.
Initially I was thinking this as well since the item names don't seem to match, but it appears that the item itself has multiple names depending on the version being used (for example diff name in EMS compared to GMS). The reason I'm pretty sure this is the grail I need is because it was given to me by the NPC mentioned earlier in the guide, Taega (who lives in the sunken ship).
OK, I'll give that a shot and see what the admins/GMs say, maybe I'm just doing it completely wrong LOL. Thanks for the advice.
OK sweet! I think it should be clarified on this server though how to do the quest, because it's not the same as in GMS (in GMS you have to fill it from the NPC) but every other quest is.
